Even though Scout is back in Madison for school, she is still taking on players who are looking to improve their game!

🔨HAMMERFEST DAILY DIGEST — 18U 🔨

The 18U Diamondblades wrapped up Hammerfest with a 2-2 record, facing some tough competition all weekend.

After a hard-fought opening loss, the girls responded with two big wins over HYFP (10-5) and Dodgeville Diamond Club (12-1). We came up short in a rematch with Oregon to end the weekend, but this team never stopped competing‼️

This group scored 25 runs over four games and continued to show growth at the plate, in the circle, and on defense.

A few standout performances:
⭐ Irelynd Cejka led the team with a .500 batting average and a 1.683 OPS.
⭐ Grace Varo and Brecklynn McCumber continued to put together quality at-bats and helped keep the offense rolling.

The entire lineup found ways to contribute, and our ability to answer after adversity was one of the biggest positives we take away from Hammerfest.

Every weekend is another opportunity to improve, and this team continues to take steps forward. We’re proud of the effort, grateful to our families and fans for their support, and excited for what’s ahead🥎

🔨HAMMERFEST DAILY DIGEST — 14U 🔨

!!What a weekend!!

These girls finished the season the best way possible—winning the Gold Bracket at our own Hammerfest Tournament!🥇 They battled through the heat all weekend, going 4-0 and bringing the rings and banner home to the Shed.

The team outscored their opponents 44-6, collected 11 extra-base hits (including the team’s first home run), played outstanding defense, and our pitching staff finished the weekend with a 1.17 ERA and a 20:4 strikeout-to-walk ratio.🙌🏻

The growth of this team over the last three years has been incredible. After putting in the work all offseason, they carried that momentum throughout the year and finished with an impressive 20-8 record—a 16-win improvement from last season.

So proud of everything these girls accomplished this year. They earned every bit of this championship and have officially put themselves on the map. What a way to wrap up an unforgettable season! 💪

🔨HAMMERFEST DAILY DIGEST — 12U🔨

Our 12U Diamondblades finished off the year by winning our 7th Annual Hammerfest Tournament right here in Prairie du Chien! The girls battled through the heat all weekend, going 4-0 and playing some incredible softball 🥇

They outscored their opponents 43-6, recorded two shutouts, hit .436 as a team, and played outstanding defense all weekend.

What a season it was! In five tournaments, these girls brought home 3 first-place finishes and 2 second-place finishes, ending the year with an overall record of 25-5-1.

So proud of this group and everything they accomplished. We can’t wait to see what they do next as they move up to 14U! ❤️🥎

Hey Everybody!! It’s been a hectic last couple of weeks with Greta Lou being born! But she says it’s time for dad to get back to work with lessons so if anyone reached out that was told to hold off until we were settled and ready please reach back out and let’s get better this offseason!! 💪🏼🥎

🔨HAMMERFEST DAILY DIGEST — 11U🔨

The ladies finish the year winning the silver 12U bracket and getting some bling in our very own 7th annual Hammerfest softball tournament! 🏅

The pitching was phenomenal all weekend, defense struggled in our first loss on Friday night against team heat tri-state but battled back in the second game on Friday winning against ISA 13-8. The hitting and defensive came alive on Saturday winning their first bracket play game 13-1 against Onalaska. It was a great game seeing the ladies smacking some great hits and come together as a team. For the silver bracket championship game we played ISA black again and the girls came through with another great team win 9-7. It was a battle the whole game back and forth but ultimately it came down to our great pitching and the girls really picking up the bats 💪
Overall this season the 11U did great playing in a lot of 12U tournaments and getting a lot of experience playing older girls. The record of 9-14 for the year shows that these girls have the grit and will learn from this year to make themselves better🙌
