Put some meat in the freezer last night. Also gave my nephew's Jack Russell a shot at tracking, which she took to like a champ! Also, the 150 gr Contour + did a number!

Well, if you measure the success of a hunt by the number of inches of horn or pounds of meat, this becomes a very frustrating pastime. The San Juan National Forest is an absolutely breathtaking wilderness, virtually untouched by man. We came away empty-handed, but it was an amazing trip. Miles hiked, country covered and time closer to God is what makes a trip a success. and I had an amazing time. These old guys survived! And the gear worked better than anticipated. Remembering the lives lost on that awful day in 2001. The day cowards needlessly murdered innocent people in hopes to strike fear in the hearts of all Americans.
