It is with very heavy heart that I post that one of our Copperhead family has passed away. Bryce Collier was a Copperhead brother from way back. He was always happy go lucky no matter what was going on. Whether Greg was yelling at him for running like his momma, or Lois fussing at him for trying to eat a sandwich between innings. He was always the funny man and always ready to do anything that you asked. While it has been awhile since you wore our team colors and several seasons since the team has played, once a Copperhead, always a Copperhead and more so always a friend.

I just wanted to pass along to our Copperhead family that Sam’s grandfather, Smiley, passed away early this morning. He and Carolyn were frequent supporters of our Tennessee Copperhead family and were present at a lot of our games and functions. Please keep their family in your prayers.

I just posted an album from some shots I took at our last game. I am not the best, but I took the day off from the score book and viewed the game through the camera. Probably shouldn't have because what I saw I am truly going to miss. We have had our good seasons and our bad. Our laughs and our frustration.Our wins and our losses. We have spent the last 6 years as a Copperhead family and we have bled, sweat and cried red and black. Almost everything I own is red and black. It has encompassed our lives. We have lost several players along the way, but we kept more than we lost the last couple seasons and I have enjoyed watching our boys (and girls) grow up together. I have loved and treated each one of your kids like my own. And in turn I would entrusted either of my children to you. I have cheered when they had a great hit and screamed at them when they weren't running to 1st. I have counted the days until our next game and have looked forward to watching the games under the team tent. I love spending time together off and on the ballfield. We have become more than a team. I truly consider you my family. I am going to miss each and everyone of you and my life, my families life has been made better by being a part of the Copperhead family.
