Following an afternoon of repairs to rectify unnecessary and careless damage to the pool, we are pleased to announce the resumption of normal pool operations commencing 6/16 at 10am. We kindly request that members remain vigilant and report any instances of disrespect or neglect towards the pool or its facilities via our Facebook messenger, which will be promptly addressed by a board member. This unfortunate downtime could have been avoided had the responsible individuals demonstrated a sense of respect and care for the pool, treating it as they would their own property. It is essential to remember that the board members do not possess sole ownership of the pool, as every member who contributes to a membership has a vested interest in its ownership. The Board would also like to request that members respect any signage indicating the pool is closed. Please refrain from removing signs from the gate and entering the pool when it is closed. The pool cleaning equipment was left in the pool and could have been damaged. If you are found disregarding this request in the future, you will be requested to surrender your key and your membership will be revoked for the remainder of the season.

Unfortunately, due to significant vandalism that occurred within the last 24 hours, The Cricket Club pool will be temporarily closed while repairs are made.

The damage includes:
• A ceiling vent being torn down in the men’s restroom
• The pool light beneath the diving board being ripped from its fitting

As a volunteer-run neighborhood pool, incidents like these are both disappointing and costly. We work hard to maintain this facility for everyone to enjoy, and damage of this nature impacts our entire community.

We ask all members to please help us protect our pool. If you see something suspicious, report it to us immediately. You may remain completely anonymous if you prefer. Those with teen children: please discuss with them how crucial it is for them to report ANYTHING that can save us from ending our season early.

Several neighboring homes have security cameras covering portions of the property. We are currently reviewing available footage and will be pursuing charges against those responsible once they have been identified.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we work to make the necessary repairs and reopen as quickly as possible.

It's a crappy job, but someone's gotta do it, folks. If your kid or, let's be real, you yourself have questionable bathroom habits, please make sure you've left the restroom in the same sparkling condition you found it in. I mean, come on, it's not like we're asking you to win a prize for cleanliness or anything. But seriously, someone left a present on the floor of the men's restroom, and let's just say it wasn't a box of chocolates. Our board members and I are more than happy to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty to keep the pool and its facilities looking sharp. But we shouldn't have to deal with, ahem, 'unpleasant surprises.' So, pretty please with a plunger on top, help us keep the pool facilities nice and tidy for the next guest. We'll thank you in advance, and so will our noses.

Huge appreciation to all our amazing members who joined us to kick off an incredible season! We're thrilled to highlight a few key reminders that will help us make this season truly unforgettable. There are several unclaimed treasures next to the coke machine, so if your little superstar is missing a mask, goggles, or a favorite toy, please check it out! To keep our facilities shining, kindly refrain from placing bulky items like pizza boxes in the bathroom trash cans. Instead, let's work together to keep our community clean by disposing of those items in the larger trash cans under the covered area in the pavilion. We're counting on your help to make sure everyone has an absolutely fantastic experience at the pool.
