🏈💚 🩷🖤While the team enjoyed a bye week from competition last week, the Georgia Vipers were still hard at work in the community.

Last week, we had the opportunity to partner with the City of Atlanta Parks & Recreation at Anderson Park for a youth flag football skills clinic. From running drills and learning fundamentals to friendly competition and plenty of laughs, it was an incredible evening spent sharing the game we love with the next generation of athletes.

Community engagement has always been a part of who we are, and there is nothing better than seeing young athletes gain confidence, learn new skills, and fall even more in love with football.

Thank you to , the parents, and every young athlete who joined us. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to do it again.

Now we’re headed right back to Anderson Park for the biggest game of our season.

Our deepest condolences!

The American Women's Football League extends its deepest condolences to our extended family The NY Knockout Women's Tackle Football Team during this incredibly difficult time.

The loss of a friend, teammate, and sister leaves a void that words can never truly fill. While we know that nothing can ease the pain of this moment, we want the New York Knockout organization, its players, coaches, staff, family members, and supporters to know that the entire AWFL community stands beside you.

The AWFL is here to support you every step of the way as you heal, remember, and celebrate her life.

May you find comfort in one another, strength in your memories, and peace in knowing that Merry's legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

We’ve seen the questions.

“Who are the Vipers playing?”
“Where’s the game?”
“When do the playoffs start?”

The answers are coming.

But right now, that’s not what matters.

Because championships aren’t won by focusing on the opponent. They’re won by focusing on the standard.

The Georgia Vipers’ biggest competition isn’t the Southwest Conference. It isn’t the Northwest Conference. It isn’t the team on the other sideline.

It’s us.

Every rep. Every choice. Every day.

The challenge is to be better than we were yesterday. To execute at a higher level. To live up to the standard we’ve set for ourselves.

The road to a championship doesn’t start with an opponent.
