Hello? Is it me you're looking for!

We have some items in the Lost and Found that would love to be reunited with their families! If any of these look familiar, please see a Board Member on duty for assistance.

It may have been a little cold on Saturday morning but that didn’t stop our littlest ball players from playing their final game of the season! We can’t wait to see our Sugar and Spice players come back in the spring!

We at WCGS were heartbroken this morning upon hearing the news of the passing of one of our own. Brendy Scarbrough has been a beloved member of many softball communities here in the West Cobb and Paulding County area for many years now. At WCGS, you could find her keeping the players and team organized as the Dugout Mom, volunteering her time as a board member, and being the best cheerleader for not only her daughter, Aubree, but for all of Aubree’s teammates and friends!

The entire WCGS softball community extends its deepest condolences to her husband, Joe, her daughter, Aubree, and to the entire Scarbrough and Parker families, along with the KMHS softball program for their loss.

If you are able, please consider donating to support Brendy‘s family and please keep Brendy‘s family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

We are excited to announce the return of our Fall Festival at Lost Mountain Park on the evening of October 24th! We are looking for small business or community groups who would be interested in setting up a tent or booth for trick or treating! Whether you want to simply decorate your booth and pass out candy or go all out with festival-style games, activities, photo opportunities, giveaways, or a themed setup, we’d love to see what you come up with.

If this sounds like something you and your business would be interested in, we’d love to have you join us! Please send us a FB message and we will connect you with Maggie - our Fall Festival Coordinator of FUN. She will be able to provide you with all the details you may need regarding setup, booth space, and the event.

The first week of the 2026 fall season is in the books! Opening day became Opening night this year and it was so much fun! Some of the night’s Highlights if you missed it, were the parade of teams, Marie singing our National Anthem, Tristyn throwing out the first pitch to Reagan, kick-ball and wiffle ball games, home run derby contests, base running contests, inflatables, participation from the KSU softball team, Italian ice, and our fantastic sponsors’ tables to visit and shop at!

The games begin back tonight after taking the Labor Day weekend off!
