💙💛🥎 8TH GRADE NIGHT ~ CLASS OF 2031

One night. So many memories. 🥹💙💛

This season, we had the privilege of celebrating our 8th graders and the years of hard work, growth, friendships and memories that brought them to this moment.

8th Grade Night was about more than softball. It was about celebrating these young ladies, the teammates they’ve become, the families who have supported them, and the next chapter waiting for each of them.

For some, this may have been one of their final nights wearing a Metro jersey. For others, the journey continues together at McEachern High School. Either way, they’ll always be part of this Tribe. 💙💛

Here’s one more look back at a night we won’t forget. 🥎✨

🎥 A HUGE thank you to Eric Blanks Eric Blanks for capturing these moments and putting this video together for our girls. We appreciate you helping us preserve these memories! 💙💛

Same Girls. Bigger Dreams.

One Team. One Family. One Goal. One Tribe.

🥎 METRO IN ACTION | GOLD 💙💛

One last look at our Gold Squad in action this season. 🎥🥎

Gold battled Hillgrove in the season finale and made them WORK for it. Our girls collected six hits to Hillgrove’s three and stayed aggressive from start to finish.

Saiira Coleman went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs, while Kennedy James and Skylar Watts helped lead the way on the bases as Gold racked up SEVEN stolen bases. 💨🔥

The scoreboard says 6–4 Hillgrove, but there was plenty of fight in this one.

One final game. One final fight. One final look at Metro Gold in action. 💙💛🥎

One Team. One Family. One Goal. One Tribe.

💙💛🥎 ONE LAST GAME ~ METRO GOLD

One last game. One last battle. And of course it had to be against one of our rivals. 😩🥎

Gold closed out the 2026 Metro season against Hillgrove and, even though the 6–4 final didn’t go our way, our girls outhit the Hawks 6–3 and kept competing until the end.

Saiira Coleman led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Gold stayed aggressive on the bases too, stealing SEVEN bags, with Kennedy James and Skylar Watts each collecting multiple steals. 💨🥎

FINAL: McEachern Gold 4 ~ Hillgrove 6

Not quite how we wanted to close this chapter, especially against Hillgrove 😩😂, but one game could never tell the story of this season.

Proud of our Gold Squad and everything they poured into it. 💙💛

One Team. One Family. One Goal. One Tribe.

🥎 METRO IN ACTION ~ SILVER 💙🩶

One last look at our Silver Squad in action this season. 🎥🥎

And BABY, did these girls make that last one interesting! 😮‍💨🔥

Down 10 runs in the fourth, Silver came storming back with an EIGHT-RUN inning. Chaneigh J capped the rally with an inside-the-park HOME RUN that brought two across! 💨💥🥎

Silver finished with 16 runs, 11 hits and 10 stolen bases. Nayla H went 3-for-3, Shelby C added two hits, and Isla R, Scarlett K and Chaneigh J each drove in two.

They came up just two runs short, but they never stopped fighting.

That’s how you compete until the LAST out. 💙🩶

One Team. One Family. One Goal. One Tribe.

💙🩶🥎 ONE LAST GAME ~ METRO SILVER

The 2026 Metro season may have come to an end, but our Silver Squad made sure they went out FIGHTING. 💪🏾

Down by 10 in the fourth inning against Allatoona, these girls refused to quit. They put up EIGHT runs in the bottom of the fourth and battled all the way back before ultimately falling just short, 18–16.

FINAL: McEachern Silver 16 ~ Allatoona 18

Not the ending we wanted, but you couldn’t ask for more fight. What a way to show exactly what it means to keep competing until the very last out. 💙🩶🥎

One Team. One Family. One Goal. One Tribe.

Gold vs. Campbell 🎥🔥

Five hits. Seven stolen bases. Runs on the board early. And when Gold found themselves down, they kept battling and worked their way right back into it.

The final may not have gone our way, but there was plenty of fight from this Gold Squad. 💪🏾🥎

Just a little Metro in Action. 💙💛

🥎 METRO GOLD IN ACTION 💙💛

Gold battled all the way to the end against Campbell, but the comeback fell just short in an 8–6 loss.

McEachern outhit Campbell 5–3, with Kennedy James, Riley Garrett, Shia Harrison, Saiira Coleman and Kenley Jones each collecting a hit. Saiira got Gold on the board early with an RBI double, while she and Kennedy each finished with two RBIs.

After falling behind by five, our girls kept fighting and worked their way back into the game. Gold also stayed aggressive on the bases with SEVEN stolen bases, including two from Kennedy, and turned a double play on defense. 🥎🔥

FINAL: McEachern Gold 6 ~ Campbell 8

The comeback may have fallen short, but the fight never did. We take the lessons and keep moving forward. 💪🏾💙💛
