If you keep starting and stopping your fitness journey, motivation may not be the problem.

You may just need a plan that was actually built for YOU.

One of the biggest mistakes people make with fitness is assuming they should be able to walk into a gym, follow a random workout, and figure everything out themselves.

But what if you’re dealing with an old injury?

What if you haven’t exercised in years?

What if you’re unsure whether you’re doing movements correctly?

Or maybe you’ve been working out consistently but simply aren’t seeing the results you expected.

That’s where personal training can make a huge difference.

The member you see in this video is one of our personal training clients. Her workouts aren’t about trying to keep up with everyone else, they’re about progressing from where she is toward where she wants to be.

With personal training, we can focus specifically on:

• Your goals and current fitness level
• Proper movement and technique
• Strength, mobility and conditioning weaknesses
• Modifications based on your individual needs
• Accountability and consistency
• Progressing at the right pace for YOU

And here’s something important to understand:

A workout being harder doesn’t automatically make it better.

The right workout is the one that challenges you appropriately, moves you toward your goals, and allows you to keep coming back consistently.

That’s what good coaching should provide.

So if you’ve been telling yourself, “I need to get in shape before I hire a trainer,” flip that thinking.

You don’t prepare yourself for personal training.

Personal training helps prepare YOU for the healthier, stronger and more capable version of yourself you’re trying to become.

Whether that eventually means joining one of our group programs or continuing one-on-one, we’ll help you find the path that makes sense for you.

🇺🇸 LABOR DAY: THE WORK ADDS UP.

Today is a reminder that the results we want rarely come from one big moment.

They come from the days you showed up when you were tired.
The workouts you finished when quitting would’ve been easier.
The healthier choice when nobody was watching.
The decision to keep going even when progress felt slow.

Fitness works the same way.

You don’t have to be the fastest.
You don’t have to lift the most weight.
You don’t have to be in the best shape in the room.

You just have to keep putting in the work.

Every workout is another deposit toward becoming stronger, healthier, and more capable than you were yesterday.

This Labor Day, we’re celebrating everyone who continues to WORK for the life and health they want. 💪

Enjoy the holiday, recover, and then let’s get back to work.

Ever have a workout where you think…

“Why does this feel so hard today?”

Last week you felt strong.
Today the warm-up has you questioning everything. 😂

Here’s something important to understand about fitness:

Your body doesn’t show up the same every day.

Sleep, stress, hydration, nutrition, soreness, work, and what you did yesterday can all affect how you perform today.

That’s why one workout should never determine whether you think you’re “getting fitter.”

Real progress is measured over weeks and months, not one Tuesday when the barbell felt unusually heavy.

Some days training means pushing the intensity.

Other days it means lowering the weight, slowing the pace, focusing on technique, and getting quality work done.

Both can move you forward.

One of the biggest things we teach at The V Fit is how to understand your body, not just how to exercise.

Because the goal isn’t to win every workout.

The goal is to build a body that’s stronger, healthier, and more capable for LIFE.

So if today’s workout humbled you…

Learn from it. Adjust. Recover.

Then show up again.

09/01/2026

This is what happens when you keep showing up. 💪🏾🔥

Progress doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from making the decision, over and over again, to keep moving forward… even on the days when motivation isn’t there.

Congrats, Conrad, on all the hard work and for continuously pushing forward! 👏🏾

The goals are in sight, but what’s even better is seeing health and fitness become a lifestyle rather than just something you do temporarily to reach a number on the scale.

That’s the real win.

At The V Fit, we want you to get results… but we also want to teach you how to build the habits, strength, confidence, and consistency that allow you to keep those results.

You don’t have to be in shape to start.
You don’t have to know everything.
You just have to be willing to take that first step.

Our job is to meet you where you are and help you keep moving forward.

Keep going, Conrad. The goals are in sight! 🎯

You can’t out-train the other 23 hours of your day.

You worked out for 45 minutes today. Great.

But here’s something we don’t talk about enough:

Your results are influenced just as much by what happens after you leave the gym.

You can have an amazing workout and still struggle to see progress if the rest of your day consistently looks like:

❌ 5–6 hours of sleep
❌ Sitting for most of the day
❌ Barely eating protein
❌ Skipping meals, then overeating at night
❌ Constant stress with no recovery
❌ Being “perfect” Monday–Thursday and starting over every Monday

Training is the stimulus.

Recovery is when your body actually gets the opportunity to adapt to that stimulus.

That’s why getting healthier isn’t just about working harder.

Sometimes your next level looks like:

✅ Going to bed 30 minutes earlier
✅ Taking a 10-minute walk after dinner
✅ Adding protein to breakfast
✅ Drinking more water
✅ Training 3 days consistently instead of randomly training 5
✅ Giving your body a recovery day without feeling guilty about it

The goal isn’t to build a life around fitness.

The goal is to use fitness to build a healthier life.

At The V: Premier Group Fitness, we want you to understand the why behind what you’re doing… not just sweat for an hour and go home.

Because when you understand the process, you have a much better chance of making the results last.

RESTING DURING A WORKOUT DOESN’T MEAN YOU’RE OUT OF SHAPE.

In fact, knowing when to rest can actually improve your performance.

Here’s something we teach our members:

When a workout gets difficult, your goal shouldn’t always be to hang on until your form falls apart.

Instead, learn to recognize when it’s time to take a short break.

A well-timed 5–15 second rest can help you:

• Maintain better technique
• Keep your reps more consistent
• Prevent a 10-second break from turning into a 60-second recovery
• Maintain your intended workout intensity
• Finish stronger instead of simply surviving

For example, if you have 15 deadlifts and you know your form starts breaking down around rep 10…

Don’t automatically fight for 15.

Try 8 reps → short rest → 7 reps.

You may actually finish faster while moving better.

That’s part of learning how to train.

At The VFit, we don’t expect everyone to walk through the door already knowing how to pace workouts, choose weights, modify movements, or understand their body.

That’s what coaches are for.

We teach you how to train so that eventually you understand not only what you’re doing, but why you’re doing it.

Because a great gym shouldn’t just make you tired.

It should make you better.

Working out harder isn’t always the answer.

One of the biggest mistakes we see people make when they aren’t getting results is assuming they need to do MORE.

More workouts.
More cardio.
More sweating.
More restriction.

But sometimes the problem isn’t how hard you’re working, it’s where your effort is going.

If you’ve been consistent but feel like your progress has stalled, look at these 5 things:

1️⃣ Are you getting stronger?
Strength training helps you maintain and build muscle, which becomes increasingly important as we get older.

2️⃣ Are you eating enough protein?
Training hard without properly fueling your body can make recovery and body-composition goals much harder.

3️⃣ How are you sleeping?
You can have a great workout program, but consistently poor sleep can affect your recovery, energy, and performance.

4️⃣ Is EVERY workout a max-effort workout?
Not every day needs to leave you looking completely drained. Some days should be hard. Some should be moderate. Some should focus on strength, technique, and quality movement.

5️⃣ Are you actually following a plan?
Random workouts can make you tired. A good program should progressively move you toward a goal.

Fitness shouldn’t just be about how exhausted you can make yourself.

The goal is to train in a way that allows you to get stronger, move better, recover well, and continue progressing for years.

Hard work matters. But the RIGHT work matters more.

If you’ve been putting in the work but feel like your results don’t match your effort, comment “PLAN” or send us a DM.

We’d be happy to help you figure out what may be missing. 💪.

A busy schedule doesn’t have to mean putting your health on the back burner. 💪

Patrick is a perfect example.

Between a demanding career and frequent travel, having the “perfect” fitness routine isn’t always realistic. Instead, Patrick has focused on something much more important: consistency.

Through Personal Training with Coach Archie, he’s been putting in the work…and the results are showing:

⬇️ Weight down
💪 Muscle up
📏 Overall inches down
⚡ More energy throughout the day
🧠 Better mental clarity and focus
😴 Improved sleep quality
🔋 Better recovery
🙌 Increased mobility
🔥 Feeling stronger and better overall

But the biggest win? Health and fitness are becoming part of Patrick’s lifestyle, not just something he does when life is convenient.

And the work doesn’t stop when he travels.

When Patrick is on the road, Coach Archie continues working with him… adjusting workouts based on the equipment he has available and helping him stay consistent wherever work takes him.

Because for most of us, life isn’t going to suddenly become less busy. There will always be work, travel, family, responsibilities, and unexpected changes.

The answer isn’t waiting for the perfect time.

It’s creating a plan that works within the life you actually live.

Keep killing it, Patrick! 👏🔥 The physical changes are great, but having more energy, sleeping better, recovering better, moving better, and feeling better every day, that’s what making fitness a lifestyle is all about.

If a busy schedule or frequent travel has made it difficult for you to stay consistent, Personal Training at The V can help you build a plan around YOUR life.

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️ THE VFIT FAM SHOWED OUT! 💪🔥

This past weekend, members of The V took on the challenge of the triathlon, and we couldn’t be more proud of how everyone performed!

From the swim ➡️ to the bike ➡️ to the run, everyone went out there, competed, pushed through the tough moments, and FINISHED STRONG. 👏

And we didn’t just finish… we had a TON of Top 10 finishes in respective age groups! 🏆🔥

But what we’re most proud of is seeing our community step outside of the gym, take on something challenging, and put all that hard work to the test.

Different fitness levels. Different goals. Same willingness to challenge ourselves and see what we’re capable of.

Congratulations to EVERYONE who competed! You represented The VFit incredibly well, and we’re proud of every single one of you.

Now the question is… who’s joining us for the next one?! 👀 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🚨 "Is Cortisol Really the Reason You're Not Losing Weight?"

If you've been on social media lately, you've probably heard someone blame "cortisol" for everything...

❌ Belly fat
❌ Weight gain
❌ Poor sleep
❌ Fatigue
❌ Hormonal issues

But here's the truth...

"Cortisol isn't your enemy." In fact, it's one of the most important hormones your body produces. Without it, you couldn't wake up in the morning, respond to stress, recover from workouts, or even function properly.

The real issue isn't cortisol itself, it's "chronic stress without enough recovery."

At TheVFit, we believe fitness shouldn't leave you feeling broken. It should make you stronger, healthier, and more resilient. That's why we coach our members to train with purpose, recover intentionally, and understand that "intensity is a tool, not the goal."

In our newest blog, you'll learn:
✅ What cortisol actually is (and why you need it)
✅ The difference between healthy stress and chronic stress
✅ Why exercise temporarily raises cortisol, and why that's a good thing
✅ How men and women experience stress differently
✅ The warning signs that you may need more recovery
✅ Our "TheVFit Intensity Scale" and how it can help you train smarter for long-term success
✅ How CrossFit, Personal Training, and PowerSculpt can support your health without burning you out

Whether you're just getting started, trying to break through a plateau, or simply want to understand how stress affects your body, this guide is packed with practical, science-based information.

💙 "Your goal shouldn't be to avoid stress."
Your goal should be to become more resilient because of how you train.
