FINAL DETAILS!

Get ready for the Viking Tour this Saturday! The weather looks like it's going to be beautiful... so feel free to invite a friend to join you last minute. They can register right at the start line. Now on to the details:

Early packet pick-up:
Avoid the Saturday morning rush and join us tomorrow night for early packet pickup. Claim your registration gear early and enjoy a pre-ride brew while you’re at it! If you can’t make it, no worries—packets will be ready on the morning of the ride, though the line may be a bit more of a challenge.

Parking:
Please do not park in downtown Poulsbo! Local business depend on this parking for their customers. Instead, please park in one of the designated parking lots shown here: canva.link/qgvd50lxiz4awnf

Routes:
For 2026, we reversed the direction of travel to eliminate dangerous road crossings and reduce the amount of long, steep inclines (Johnson Way and Sawdust Hill). Check out the route maps and add them to your phone before the ride:

Lunch:
We will be providing lunch for all riders! You'll get a token and menu at registration that you can take to any of our nearby food vendors:
• Cafe Cocina
• JJ's Fish House
• Juicy J’s Burgers (100% plant-based)
• Poulsbo Woodfired Pizza
• The Brass Kraken Pub
You'll also get a free drink from Rad Can at the finish line.

Brew Fest:
Once you're done riding, join us at our brew fest which runs from 11am-6pm. Riders get a special discounted entry and you can enjoy drinks from:

• Sisters' Cider House
• Western Red Brewing
• Valhöll Brewing
• Echoes Brewing Company
• Crane’s Castle Brewing
• Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse

This is a volunteer run event:
Keep in mind the Viking Tour is 100% run by volunteers from the Poulsbo Rotary Club, and all money raised goes back into our community through a variety of different means. Make sure to thank the volunteers as you're enjoy this fantastic event, and make sure to cut them a little slack when inevitably things go a bit haywire.

Riders will get a meal voucher with registration good to use at any of our food vendors. To get your meal, go to the vendor of your choice and give them the Viking Tour token included in your registration packet.

Plus, get a free drink from Rad Can at the finish line! Just show them your rider bib.

Lunch Menu:

🥗 Caffe Cocina: Any salad, wrap or acai bowl.
🐟 JJ'S FishHouse Poulsbo: One-piece cod & chips with slaw or burger & fries or two cod or shrimp tacos.
🍔 Juicy J's Smoked Burgers: (100% plant-based): Classic cheese burger & fries or a classic cheese burger salad.
🍕 Poulsbo Woodfired Pizza: Two slices of pizza or one slice of pizza and a salad.
🍗 The Brass Kraken Pub: Three piece chicken basket with fries or an entree salad (wedge, caesar, or spinach).

Registered for the Viking Tour? Here's what you need to know before Saturday.

📍 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼: Poulsbo Waterfront Park, 18809 Anderson Pkwy. Please don't park downtown - volunteers will direct you to parking when you arrive. Handicapped parking is available.

⏰ 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁: Group start at 9:00 AM. Plan to be checked in and ready before then.

📦 𝗔𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗶𝗻: Pick up your bib and swag bag. Have your signed waiver ready? If you haven't signed it yet, you'll do it at the gate.

🎒 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿: Secure bag/backpack check at the start area. Drop your gear before you ride, grab it when you're done.

🗺️ 𝗢𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲: Routes are arrow-marked (note your route's color). Rest stops with snacks, drinks, and restrooms every ~10–15 miles. Ride support vehicles and HAM radio operators on course all day.

🍽️ 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲: Use your meal voucher for a free hot lunch (vegetarian option available). Then stick around for the Brew Fest, 11am–6pm! Drinks purchased separately, must be 21+.

Seriously, drink more water than you think you need, and don't forget the snacks.
