There was some serious magic in the gym this morning! Honestly, watching all of you put in the work, smile through the tough reps, and lift each other up is the highlight of our day, every single day.

We see the commitment you bring every time you walk through those doors, not just to bettering yourselves, but everyone around you. KCF, we officially hit triple digits!
An incredible 101 athletes showed up and put in the work to make the club for August. If this summer was a sundae, all 101 of you are the absolute cherry on top! That is a massive amount of consistency to close out the season.

The rules of the game stay exactly the same. You earn your spot by booking your classes ahead of time and walking through those doors ready to train.

Your consistency is literally stacking up. The new August sticker designs are in the works, so be ready to grab yours soon to add to your collection.

Happy Labor Day from Kitsap CrossFit! 🇺🇸💪

This morning, over 70 athletes chose to start their holiday by honoring a fallen hero. They took on Bert, a demanding workout dedicated to U.S. Marine Corporal Albert Gettings, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Fallujah, Iraq in 2006.

The energy in the room while pushing through all those reps was contagious. Witnessing this incredible community pack the room and feed off each other’s drive to tackle the day together was something special.

🎉 Help us wish a massive Happy Birthday to the unstoppable Coach Jené! 🎉

Over her three years as owner of Kitsap CrossFit, Jené has shown us what true dedication looks like.

Jené has a gift for creating the little things that make KCF feel like home. From bringing the Committed Club and its monthly stickers to KCF, to making sure our favorite traditions and events continue year after year, she is always finding new ways to keep our community connected, motivated, and having fun. And those stickers? Safe to say, they have become a pretty big deal around here. 😂

And she does all of this while juggling being a wife, a mom of two, another full time job, and running KCF. It is no small feat, yet she does it all with unmatched grace. Her superpower is her constant drive to make KCF better. She is always grinding behind the scenes, thinking about what we can do next, what we can improve, and how we can make the experience even better for our members. She never settles for "good enough" when it comes to our community.

That same relentless energy shows up in her own goals. Jené leads from the front as a CF L3 trainer and crushes it on the jiu jitsu mats. But she doesn't just coach from the sidelines. You'll regularly see her jumping into classes, grinding through the workouts, and pushing hard right alongside our athletes. She truly walks the walk.

And then there is the Jené we all know and love. Our favorite Dunkin lover, briny bagel Saturday enthusiast, Cake Friday aficionado, gummy bear fiend, resident master of aggressive hugging, and all around KCF superstar. 😂

Registration for My First Throwdown XI is officially OPEN to the public!

We are beyond excited to host our 11th My First Throwdown on Saturday, October 24. This is going to be an incredible day!

What is My First Throwdown?
It is a competition exclusively for first time competitors. If you have never done an in person, head to head, or team event before, this is your time! And yes, doing the CrossFit Open does not count against you!

The Workouts
Expect 3 workouts designed for EVERYONE. Movements are totally accessible, but athletes with a higher fitness level will still be pushed to their limits. The top 5 in each division advance to a winner takes all final event!
This is your chance to step onto the floor and realize you absolutely CAN do this.

Event Details
Your registration includes an exclusive event t shirt, professional photography, massive hype music from DJ John Wood, and awesome podium prizes.

Pricing and Deadlines:
* Early Bird Price: $100 through September 6
* Price increases to $115 on September 7
* Registration officially closes on October 16

Huge shoutout to the KCF crew taking on the Ragnar trail relay at Crystal Mountain today.

Five of our own — Nikki, Ashley, Leighton, Laura, and Sam — are out there repping us on a 9-person team. 11 hours and 45 minutes in. Still moving. Still getting it done.

For those who don’t know the format. 2-day, overnight relay. Teams camp at the base. Take turns running three different alpine loops. Around 120 miles total. 2,700 feet of climbing. Running on dirt trails straight through the night.

That’s a lot of miles. Huge show of strength and endurance from this group.
