Good afternoon!

We have missed you all and have been surprised, privileged, and most of all grateful and humbled at all of your support over the past 14 months.

We have some important and exciting farm news to share!

Allaire Farms is now operating under the moniker of Blue Heron Farm, owned by the Meekings' daughter, Ruel Johnson. Blue Heron Equestrian Center is an elite, beautiful, and renowned hunter-jumper facility.

The Allaire acreage is undergoing extensive projects, changes, and upgrades, beginning with new fencing, construction of new loafing sheds, and new + different configurations of paddocks and fields. Safety, comfort, and quality are of the utmost importance.

In the near future, we will be accepting additional boarders of all breeds, with special emphasis on retired horses and layups. Please contact [email protected] with inquiries or to be added to the waitlist.

There is yet more good news to come, so stay tuned! Follow the Blue Heron page to keep up to date on all new developments and happenings.

May the spring be treating you well. We hope your race (and show) horses are full of promise for the upcoming season.

Thank you again for allowing us to lean on you during such a difficult time.

Dear friends,

We are so sorry to be sharing this unfortunate news. See the post below from Sally Leonard Steiner for information.

Mr. & Mrs. Meeking would love to hear from you! Cards, notes, and mail is best. We are assembling Christmas card tree in their home - a "tree" of cards from their friends and fans (of which there are MANY, sooooo, so many, including yours truly!) If you've ever acquired one of their horses, we'd love to hear from you about who you have (or had) and what you and your Meeking/Allaire horse(s) have been doing together out in the horse world! Please drop us a line or post in the comments on this page.

The Meekings truly have no idea of how beloved they are! The two of them have touched SO many lives, both in the horse business and outside of it. If you've been lucky enough to meet the Meekings, you know they're unforgettable. What an enduring legacy!

Your support, positive vibes, and prayers are so very much appreciated as we celebrate the two of them. They send their love to you!

Wishing you all joy, peace, and comfort this holiday season.

ATTENTION RACE TRACK FAMILY AND FRIENDS….
I have some bad news. Bob Meeking is not doing well with his Cancer. His prognosis is now 1-2 months and if they can't get him to eat and drink it will be sooner.
They both (Bob and Barbara) would absolutely LOVE notes and cards :

Their daughter Ruel says cards would be wonderful - please include your phone number in them. Phone calls to him will not work at this time. For more updates please call Emily Wilmot …phone number is # 360-932-4681, or email [email protected] He is comfortable and drinking a bottle of sparkling cider a day and eating ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream the rest of the time. 🤗🤣
It breaks our hearts to imagine the track without him 😢❤️

After missing 2021 while dealing with treatment for colon cancer, Bob Meeking is back at work training horses at Emerald Downs. Meeking, who turns 94 on June 6, currently has nine horses in training, but he is planning to send a few home.

Did you know that we also support sporthorse breeding? One of our homebred daughters of Rallying Cry had her first foal, a lovely warmblood filly, at her new home in California this weekend. 😍 Congratulations to all involved!
