More from Championship Week.

This time it is Majors Fastpitch Softball. These young ladies played two amazing games last week and showed up and played their hearts out. Two well played games by both Bennie's Jets and Tuna Graphics.

Bennie's Jets forced the If Game in thrilling fashion and both teams came back to play an even better game the next day. Tuna Graphics ultimately took the crown, but the smiles after the games proved that the spirit of competition is alive and well and the memories will last a lifetime.

Coach Ben Thomas summed up best by saying, "the last two games were super fun and a great way to end the season!"

These young ladies should be celebrated and hats off to them for their growth and development this year! Job well done ladies.

Championship week is in the books! And it is time to start sharing some great stories! Thanks to all who have competed and gave their best effort on the field.

Story one - teams and parents coming together to make a great experience.

From Coach Chapman.

When I arrived at 1:30pm, the fields were trashed with water. It was amazing watching everyone (coaches, Chris, Jeremy, Michael, parents, literally everyone) come together as a community to make them playable.

Tom Sullivan and his coaches worked with my coaches to warm up the kids as one unit, they had an absolute blast doing this together.

We had a great championship game with Chris umpiring. Although we lost by 1, watching the community work together, and the kids having fun made the day perfect.

🚨 Hi NKLL Families.

It is almost Tacoma Rainiers Day. Here is some info regarding the parade.

All District 2 little leaguers in attendance and their families are invited to join the District 2 Pregame Parade at 5:30PM by the grass berm, down the first base concourse. This includes any and all families from GHLL, SKWLL, NKLL, and SKELL. You and your family can join in the parade with your league/team.

Uniforms are not required, but encouraged. Please make sure all kids are wearing shoes that they are able to run in, but no cleats. Jeans/shorts/baseball pants are all acceptable.

Any families still looking to purchase tickets can do so in concessions at the field tomorrow. Stop by and pick up a few!!

📢Hello NKLL Families.

Wanted to remind everyone of our upcoming Tacoma Rainiers event. We still have tickets and are available to purchase up until game day the 30th. Tickets will be available at the concessions stand. We can take cash and or credit cards.

This is a great way to support our league and see future Seattle Mariners stars!

🎉 Today we celebrate our Senior Softball 🥎girls as they played their last regular season game. Kudos to these young ladies who came together as a group. This group had lot of fun, leanred a lot about themselves and the game while making great memories They should be proud of their efforts and accomplishments this season.

For some, this was also their last Little League game. NKLL wants to thank them for being in our program and wish them great luck in their next endeavors. High School softball awaits and we wish you success.

Cannot wait to see some of you come back and be the next generation of leaders for NKLL! You all did us proud.
