Staff Belay Climbing
Our most popular option for beginners and families just getting into rock climbing, looking to work with an instructor on the top rope climbing walls. Sessions are 1-hour long and include all rental equipment. Book online or call us at (845) 462-1920.

Youth Climbing Teams
A great option for kids who climb regularly or have completed a session of our 6 Week Kids Class program or Summer Rocks Climbing Camp. This October, for each send on our Climb for a Cure route The Gravity Vault will donate 25¢* to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

To find the Climb for a Cure route, look for the pink 5.5 on the rap tower.

Challenge your climbing partners to send this route as many times as you can this month! We are shooting for a goal of 1,000 sends this October!

*Up to a total of 1,000 sends from October 1st to October 31st, 2026.

As a Shift Leader at The Gravity Vault you will oversee the smooth operation of the front desk, ensure that safety standards are being met out on the climbing floor, and provide guidance to instructors. The Shift Leader is also responsible for completing key “behind the scenes” tasks to assist the rest of the management team in their daily operations. This is a part time position requiring 20 – 30 hours of work depending upon the applicant’s availability.

Job Responsibilities Include:
-Overseeing the facility operation and flow of activities
-Managing instructors
-Keeping staff on task during our evening hours
-Providing top notch customer service
-Assisting staff in closing/cleaning the gym in a timely manner
-Taking bookings and final payments for events and large groups
-Creating promotional materials as needed

Requirements:
-Prior experience in a retail or fitness environment
-Strong customer service skills
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Strong leadership skills
-Weekday afternoon/evening availability as well as Saturday availability
