QCD College Commitment Recognition 👑
We had the honor of hosting a celebration day for surrounded by her friends, family, teammates & teachers as she celebrated the realization of a lifelong dream.
Annabel is the definition of determination, focus, and hard work. For years, she has balanced an incredibly demanding academic schedule, leadership positions, community involvement, intensive dance training, competitions, conventions and performances, all while maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her ability to navigate so many responsibilities with grace, maturity, and purpose is remarkable.
We are beyond proud to share that Annabel Lee will be attending the University of Michigan, where she will pursue a dual degree in Chemistry & Dance 💛💙
The University of Michigan is one of the most selective public universities in the country. Annabel was accepted into both the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, and the prestigious School of Music, Theatre & Dance, an exceptionally selective boutique program with an acceptance rate of approximately 1%. Earning a place in either program is an extraordinary accomplishment.
Watching Annabel work tirelessly toward this goal has been incredibly inspiring & her accomplishments extend far beyond the dance studio:
✨ Class President (Junior & Senior Years)
✨ Student Government Organization Vice President
✨ National Honor Society President
✨ Ranked 7th in her graduating class
✨ Completed 9 AP courses
✨ Recipient of the University of Rochester George Eastman Young Leaders Award
✨ 100+ hours of community service
✨ French Club, Ski Club & Yearbook Club member
One of her greatest honors at Spackenkill High School was being selected to receive the ‘Key to the School’ as the incoming Senior Class President her junior year, a symbol of leadership and trust that she will now proudly pass down to the Class of 2027.
She has also pursued advanced dance training opportunities across the country, including MPulse at the University of Michigan, Miami Ballet Summer Intensive, Project 21 Summer Intensive, Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program, and Pro-Reveler with Revel Dance Competition. She continually sought opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge herself as an artist.
While her accomplishments are impressive, what we admire most is who she is and her commitment to becoming the best version of herself. She understands that success is not given, it is earned through consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep showing up even when things are difficult.
Congratulations, Annabel. The University of Michigan is incredibly lucky to have you, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in this next chapter of life 💫👑
