FALL 2025 SWIM LESSONS
Registration is now open for Fall 2025 Swim Lessons
Lessons offered for ages 4 and older.
Lessons are held at Marist University.
The lessons will be conducted at McCann Center on the Marist Campus
3399 North Road
Poughkeepsie, NY
Classes will be held on the following Sundays:
September 7, 14, 21, 28 and October 26.
We are offering lessons at four times; 9 am, 10 am, 11 am.
Our lessons are set up based on skill level as in the past with 4 levels; Water Immersion, Red Team, White, and Blue Team.
Description of Levels
Water Immersion: Pre-School for 4 year olds just being introduced to the water.
Red Team: 4-8 Year Old Beginning Swimming. To be held in the shallow end of the pool. This team teaches basic swimming techniques
White Team: Intermediate Swimming. This team will introduce crawl stroke and backstroke techniques.
Blue Team: Advanced Swimming. This team will teach the techniques of all four swimming strokes.
Introduction to competition swimming and racing strategy techniques
Note: All instructors will have a check list of all skills necessary for each participant to move on to the next level
The cost for the lessons is $160 per child.
