Vassar College Quidditch Drunk on Victory since the 1860s! Practices are on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 3-5pm on Joss Beach. Bedtime Reading occurs on Thursdays at 10pm.

One dreary night in the fall of 1861, as our illustrious founder Matthew Vassar stumbled to the TH's, fluthered from a drink of his own concoction, a novel idea hit him like a bludger to the head. Why don't I found a women's college? Then he had a noveler idea. Taking his broom from his closet,

Matt placed it confidently between his legs and took to the clouds. Thus began Vassar Quidditch. To this day the young witches and wizards of VassWarts College carry on the grand tradition of snatching snitches, commandeering quaffles, and generally causing mayhem as they soar across the Poughkeepsie skies, bedecked in their robes of pink satin. They also continue to uphold the tradition of Butterbeer Brewing, which might explain why they have consistently finished in second place. Well, that and the curse of the womp-womp…

🌲❄️🕯️✨ YULE BALL!! ✨🕯️❄️🌲

Vassar Quadball’s annual winter formal will be hosted this Saturday, December 6th from 8:30PM to 12:30AM in the Aula! The first 30 minutes will consist of a swing dance lesson, and at 9:00 we’ll move into open dance with live jazz performed by Vassar’s very own Jazz Ensemble. Wear your fanciest attire!
