🏁 It’s Race Day at Linda's Speedway for Team RGR! 🏁

We’ve got Richie, John and Brandon behind the wheel of a 600 modified, and Chris in the charger division!

Double features are on tap for the 600 modifieds, as they are running a make-up feature from a previously rained out event. Updated will be posted in the comments throughout the night!

🏁 Race Recap: Freedom 38er at Grandview Speedway Inc. 🏁

Heat 6 started off strong β€” Richie rolled off P1 and took the win! A big thank-you to Stringer's Collision Center for adding a heat race winners bonus! In the Cash Dash, he drew 9 out of 9, so he stayed in the back and used the laps to test the setup changes.

For the feature, Richie pulled 7 in the redraw. He was fighting hard for a top 5 position by lap 3, when unfortunately contact from another car in turns 3 & 4 sent him spinning. Thankfully no one else hit him and he was able to continue, but he was forced to restart at the back and ultimately finished 27th. Shout-out to BMB Construction for their Lap 1 sponsorship β€” which went to the 7th-place running car (Richie at the time!).

It was a disappointing way to end the night, but we’re thankful the car was loaded in one piece and we know it has the speed to run up front!

At this time, our next race for the 602 car is TBD β€” so be sure to stay tuned for updates!

Last night was all about making laps and shaking things down. Started 9th in the heat and brought it home 8th β€” not pushing too hard, just making sure the car stayed in one piece.

Rolled off 7th in the consi and finished 4th, missing the feature by just one spot. Tough break, but the goal was seat time and making sure everything stayed together β€” and we accomplished that.

Now, we're gearing up for the 38er this Friday at Grandview Speedway Inc!

Finally race day at Grandview Speedway! 🏁

Everyone has been working hard to get the car back together, and we're ready to turn some laps tonight. Time to dial it in for those big end-of-year shows!

πŸ”₯ Race Recap – Linda's Speedway (Friday 9/12) πŸ”₯

Modified Class – 50-Lap Feature
The highly anticipated 50-lap feature did not disappoint! The top 8 from time trials locked into the main event, while the rest battled it out in an 8-lap qualifier. Richie timed 5th, locking him straight into the feature. Brandon (13th), Ray (20th), and John (21st) all ran the qualifier. In the qualifier Ray finished 10th, John 12th, Brandon 13th.

Feature Results:
πŸ† Richie WON the 50-lap feature! This marks his 53rd career win at Linda’s Speedway and his 3rd consecutive 50-lap victory at the track!
✨ Ray finished 7th in his first race of the 2025 season
✨ Brandon finished 17th
✨ John finished 22nd

Charger Division – Living Legends Night
A special night for Chris, who was honored for his 4 Charger Championships and 20+ wins in the class. Living Legends Night featured both a makeup feature and a regular night feature.

Feature Results:
✨In the makeup feature Chris finished 13th
✨In the regularly scheduled feature, he raced his way to a 6th-place finish from starting spot 11!
