Post Season Awards!!!

The Apaches and Lady Apaches finished off the season with top 10 finishes at the 4A State Track & Field Meet at Clarksville on Tuesday, May 5

The girls finished with a 6th place performance scoring 46 points, while the boys finished 8th overall scoring 26 points.

There were multiple new school records set on the night. The highlights include the following State Runner-Up / All-State performances:

Boys 4x800 - Eli Moudy, Wyatt Welch, Ethan Lacy, Jackson Blalock (8:15.24)

Eli Moudy - 3200M Run (10:00.95)

Valarie Stancil - 100M Hurdles (16.06)

The Apache and Lady Apache Track & Field squads had a good showing at the 4-4A Conference Track & Field Meet.
The Lady Apache squad finished the night as conference runner-up as the guys finished in 3rd place.

Here are the conference championship performances.

Girls:
4x800 Relay - Audri Martin, Chloe Kilgore, Sophie Ussery, Addi Cox
800M Run - Chloe Kilgore
Valarie Stancil was conference champ in the following events - Long Jump, Triple Jump, 100M Hurdles, 300M Hurdles, 200M Dash

Valarie was also the high point winner on the girls side.

That's a wrap for the 2026 Jr Apache Track & Field season. Had a great night of beautiful weather with lots of PRs in Waldron, AR.
The Lady Jr Apaches finished as 4-4A Conference Runner-Up.

Payten Hendricks finished the season as 4-4A Conference Champ in discus with a throw of 79' 3"

Both the boys and girls Jr high Apaches are filled with great kids that have a mindset of hardwork and perseverance. Excited to see the growth of these young athletes!

Thanks to the athletes and parent volunteers that came out over the weekend to help us get our high jump and pole vault competition areas set up.

It's officially Track & Field SZN!!!
