👑 OPENING DAY. WHAT. A. DAY. 🏈❤️🖤

The first games of the season are officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more proud of our Norchester Red Knights!

To our players — you showed up, competed, battled, and most importantly, had FUN. Big plays were made across every level. Many of our 6u players were stepping onto a football field for the first time and it was big play after big play!

To our cheerleaders- loud and proud! Gamedays wouldn’t be the same without all of you keeping the spirit alive on the sideline.

To our coaches — thank you for your time, patience, and commitment to these kids.

To our parents and families — thank you for trusting us and bringing the energy.

To our board and volunteers — parking, concessions, setup, cleanup… you are the reason game day happens.

And to everyone who came out to support — THANK YOU! It was a truly great gameday environment for the kids. Let’s keep that going next weekend!

This is bigger than football and cheer. This is about building something special for our kids and our community, and we are well on our way.

Opening Day is just the beginning. 👑

👑🏈 YOUTH NIGHT AT THE HILL SCHOOL! 🏈👑

We are incredibly grateful to The Hill School and Hill Football for hosting the Norchester Red Knights at a game every season and giving our kids an experience they won’t soon forget. Tonight was no exception!

For our players and cheerleaders, getting to be part of a Hill School game, seeing the atmosphere, and being around the excitement of Friday night football is something special.

It’s experiences like this that make youth sports about so much more than what happens on the field. They create memories, build connections, and show our kids what’s possible if you dream. ❤️

Thank you, Hill School and Hill Football, for continuing to welcome the Red Knights and our families! We are grateful for your support!

Tonight, we celebrated our kids, our community, and the incredible partnership between The Hill School and the Norchester Red Knights. We also celebrated a few former Red Knights who now play for the team!

🏈👑 THE OFFICIAL NRK GAMEDAY SURVIVAL GUIDE 👑🏈

🚨 ATTENTION PARENTS:

We are 24 hours away from the official start to our Fall 2026 season. Please review the following rules before entering The Kingdom on Saturday. Most of these were discussed at our parent meeting, so this is just a friendly reminder before we kick things off tomorrow!

RULE #1 — DO NOT COACH FROM THE SIDELINE.
Your child cannot hear you anyway. Neither can the coach. Neither can the ref. Our coaches are hard working, dedicated volunteers who invest a lot of time to make this a great experience for the kids. Please treat them as such.

RULE #2 — THE REF IS NOT YOUR ENEMY.
Questioning one call is acceptable.
Questioning EVERY call is a hobby.
Please find a new hobby. 🤣 Our referees are hard working, dedicated volunteers, and certified to do the job to the best of their ability. Please treat them as such.

RULE #3 — CHEER FOR YOUR CHILD.
Not just when they score. Not just when they make a great play.
EVERY. SINGLE. PLAY. Cheer for their teammates as well! Positivity!

RULE #4 — NO SIDELINE MELTDOWNS.
If you find yourself yelling, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?”
Take a breath.
Remember: IT’S FLAG FOOTBALL. 😂

RULE #5— CELEBRATE. HAVE FUN. TALK A LITTLE TRASH.
But keep it respectful.
We’re building competitors and a family, not villains and enemies.

RULE #6— NO PARENT-ON-PARENT BEEF.
If you have a problem with another parent, settle it the traditional NRK way:

👉 Rock-paper-scissors.
Best two out of three.
Loser gets snacks for both of your kids after the game . 😂

RULE #7— WIN WITH CLASS. LOSE WITH CLASS.
Because at the end of the day, these kids are watching EVERYTHING we do. We ALL need to be positive role models.

RULE #8— TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES. 📸
Because they’re only this age once.

RULE #9- NO DRINKING ALCOHOL (save the tailgating for Sunday 🦅), SMOKING OF ANY KIND, OR VA**NG. No exceptions, even if you have a medical card. This is a youth sporting event.

RULE #10- HAVE A DAMN GOOD TIME. 🔥
This is the NORCHESTER RED KNIGHTS. This is the start of great new era for an organization with a well established history dating all the way back to 1960!
We’re here to build new memories, new friendships and a whole lot of football fans, while being proud of the community we have created, and producing great young boys and girls, on and off the field, to represent us.

We specifically need help with:

🚗 PARKING — Help direct families and keep things organized.
🌭 SNACK STAND — Help serve up the food and drinks.
⏱️ CLOCK / SCOREBOARD OPERATORS — Help keep the games on track and the scoreboard rolling- and a front row seat for the action on the field.

👏 To our flag football players: You showed up, competed, worked hard, and brought the energy. The season is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish!

🏈 To our coaches: Thank you for giving your time, energy, and knowledge to our athletes. You’re helping build more than teams—you’re developing skills, and building confidence, friendships, and memories.

What a way to kick off the season! Our Red Knights Cheerleaders showed up tonight with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of Knight pride! 👑❤️🖤 You sounded great!

We’re incredibly proud of every cheer athlete who stepped onto the field tonight. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to watch this squad grow, cheer, compete, and make memories all season long!
