This guy's crew bailed on him so he came out solo and we got into some great topwater action early on. After that, with the holiday weekend and little wind, it was a struggle. We still caught fish but they would be blacked out under the boat and just 1 or 2 here and there. We put 18 on the table for him to take home to make for a great day. Good times! What a morning we had out there! We got a reprieve from the hot weather and those big fish were fired up in the cooler temperatures! We caught all of our overs and proceeded to release a lot more, all on topwaters! Then we ran around and found the box fish we needed on slabs to finish out our limit, good times! I took an open boat trip out today today and got into some good fishing! We could catch all we wanted on top but they were small, all of our bigger fish came in on slabs today. Not many folks on the lake make fir good fishing. I have tomorrow and Sunday available, who wants to go?

I had the day off today but I didn't let that keep me from catching fish. I took my cousin out and we did some fly fishing, caught some nice fish on top and a few on slabs out playing around. The lake is deserted right now and there we found fish in several locations piled up. They really started going when the wind shifted to the north. I still have a spot available for an open boat trip Friday and I also available tomorrow and next week. Who wants to go?

It was this girl's birthday and she wanted to go fishing so her parents brought her and her sister out and we put them on some birthday fish! Saturday the fishing was fantastic, we caught fish on topwater and slabs and only kept 5 for supper to turn the rest back. Good times! Sorry for the late report, fishing is good and I have all week open. Friday is an open boat, I already have 2 people booked, who wants to go?

Fishing was fantastic early morning today, fish were on top and we caught them everywhere we fished, we caught all of our overs and released a few more and turned back a bunch of small fish. We caught them good on topwaters and slabs then they all shoot down at around 9:30 and we never caughtvanother fish. Good times!

Fishing was a whole lot better today without the wind, we were able to fish where we wanted to and we could see those topwater fish surfacing from a long way off. The topwater bite is really turning on! We caught most of them on the surface today and brought home a really jice box of fish. Good times! I have next week available and the lake has been pretty much deserted during the week. Who wants to go?

Man I put some miles on the water for these. It was a tough day out there we had like 9 fish till 11:00 then we finally kicked that last minute field goal to head in with 30 fish. Even a slow day of fishing is still a good day at work though. Good times@
