☀️🏕️ SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM 2026 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🏕️☀️
The Village of Potsdam Parks and Recreation Department is excited to officially open registration for our 2026 Summer Recreation Program!
✅ WHO CAN REGISTER
• Children ages 5–12
• Must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026
📋 REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
• A completed registration form is required for all participants
• A copy of your child's immunization (shot) record is REQUIRED for participation
• You do NOT need the shot record to register
• If you already have a copy, you are encouraged to upload it during registration
• If not uploaded during registration, it must be submitted BEFORE your child attends the program
📅 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
• June 29 – August 7, 2026
• Monday–Friday
• Camp Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

🇺🇸 Week 1 (June 29 – July 2): Adventure in the USA
🎤 Week 2 (July 6 – July 10): Potsdam's Got Talent
🏀 Week 3 (July 13 – July 17): Ball is Life
🕵️ Week 4 (July 20 – July 24): Top Secret: Camp Confidential
🚀 Week 5 (July 27 – July 31): Dream Big Week
🥇 Week 6 (August 3 – August 7): Camp Olympics
💲 PROGRAM PRICING
Weekly Rates:
Week 1 (Short Week)
• Potsdam Resident / Potsdam Central School District: $48
• Non-Residents: $64
Weeks 2–6
• Potsdam Resident / Potsdam Central School District: $60/week
• Non-Residents: $80/week
🗓️ DAILY DROP-IN & PART-TIME OPTIONS
✔️ Part-Time Weekly Attendance (Pre-Registered Days)
• Families may select specific days during a week in advance
• Daily Rate Applies:
• Resident / PCSD: $15/day
• Non-Resident: $20/day
Examples:
• 2 days/week (Resident) = $30
• 3 days/week (Non-Resident) = $60
If pre-registered and space is available at the time of registration, your child's spot is guaranteed for those selected days.
✔️ Daily Drop-In Attendance
• Resident / PCSD: $15/day
• Non-Resident: $20/day
• Intended for as-needed attendance
⚠️ IMPORTANT
• A completed application must be on file before attendance
• No child may attend without required paperwork submitted
Availability:
• Part-time attendance is guaranteed if space was available at registration
• Daily drop-in attendance is NOT guaranteed and is accepted only if space is available that day
👨👩👧👦 WEEKLY FAMILY CAP (SAME HOUSEHOLD)
To help families with multiple children, a weekly household cap is in place.
Maximum Weekly Household Cost:
• Resident / PCSD: $120/week
• Non-Resident: $160/week
The cap:
✔️ Applies to children living in the same household
✔️ Applies to full-week, part-time, and daily drop-in attendance
✔️ Limits the total amount charged per household each week
Example (Resident Household):
• 1 child attends 3 days = $45
• 2 children attend 3 days each = $90
• 3 children attend full week = capped at $120 total
Additional Notes:
• The cap is calculated weekly (Monday–Friday)
• Once the cap is reached, no additional charges apply that week
• All children must be registered and reside at the same household address
🎓 SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
• We believe every child should have access to summer fun
• Scholarships are available for qualifying families

• Registration is first come, first served
• Space is limited based on staffing and program capacity
