Potsdam Bears Summer Basketball Camp Annual summer basketball camp for boys and girls entering grades 3-12. July 10-14, 2016 It is one of the only camps in the U.S.

For the past 47 years, the Potsdam Bears Summer Basketball Camp has attracted over 13,450 campers from the small towns of Northern New York, 20 different states, the provinces of Ontario and Québec, and around the world. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball at one of the most highly rated camps in the country. Last summer over 250 players learned skills through individual and group in

struction from a staff of over 50 top college and high school coaches, and current students and alumni of SUNY Potsdam. Since many of the campers are from Canada, this co-ed camp is truly international in flavor. where students from both countries have an opportunity to learn about their neighbors and play on the same team. Although both boys and girls attend camp in the same sessions, the skill groups and teams are not co-ed. Campers will be grouped by age and/or ability level to ensure their maximum development. In addition, an Olympic-size pool and a modern athletic training room are available for all campers
