Todd Margolis 2.0 (in the middle) competed in his first tournament. 5-0 w 7 takedowns, 2 subs in each final - gi and no gi. Outscored them 64-0 and competed while recovering from a chest and sinus infection against bigger and older kids 6-7 year olds and he’s under 6 1/2💪🏻🙏🏻 yeah, I’m proud of him but this is just the start of his journey. Good news is that he wants to win more, learn more and train harder! Congrats son, I will see you tomorrow on the mat! Love ya. 💪🏻🙏🏻❤️👏🏻

6 Gold and 2 Silver out of these 4 boys at their first tournament (Saylor’s 2nd). I have never taught a submission in our kids class, but we went over an arm bar yesterday (in a private training) to prepare them for today. We work takedowns, escaping the mount with the Margolis Shrimp and dominating positions with head position and structure. It paid off. They didn’t know as many techniques but they won the takedown and position game which led to opponent mistakes and submissions for our team. 5 submissions from guys that don’t train submissions! And dominated no gi when we always train with the gi. But we have a lot to improve on as This is just the beginning. I’m grateful for their hard work and the support from their families. I’m grateful for the opportunity to push these kids and to push myself to be a better coach. See you on the mat!

ADCC 88kg Champ is a killer! What an amazing run he had this year. Super cool to meet and talk with him about his journey to ADCC Champion! We’ll find a way to get him out to train with us sometime next year! Maybe during wrestling camp! Can’t wait to see the sick technique he’s putting together today. 💪🏻🔥🔥

Unbelievable feeling having Student’s from CLUB DEPORTIVO MMA COLOMBIA] here with me for the week. Like having children home after years apart. You want to see their growth, hear their stories, teach them things, have them teach me things and truly enjoy each moment together. I love these guys and I’m so proud of them and their journey. I hope they left with a greater passion for life, bjj, training and friendship! So cool seeing this legendary wizard of BJJ Braulio is an amazing competitor, innovator and coach and I was blessed to have stepped on the mats with him twice. Total monster and gentlemen. Very difficult guy to grapple with. So damn technical and his length also gave me fits. I may be 0-2 but in my book, we are still playing best of seven, so it’s not over! 😂 but this time he needs both hands tied behind his back! True legend. Always made me better competing with him. Hope to see him soon. God bless my friend!
