Our 2023 Turkey Shoot turned out to be a fantastic day for golf. We had some great scores today with a 3-way tie for first place! Congratulations to the team that won the scorecard playoff of Ted Mikesell, Matthew Sheldon, Pierre Chauvet and Ryan Boothe! From all of us here in the golf department we would like to thank everyone who has played in club events throughout the year! Thank you as always for your continued support of the golf operation and we are looking forward to a great 2024 season!

Congratulations to Keegan Boone on winning his second Men’s Club Championship (two in a row). It was a great match and came down to the last hole. Runner up and former 5 time champion Danny Hathway showed great sportsmanship through out the match. It was very special to see two Legacy Members that grew up at Bethesda CC in the finals and put on a great show for everyone watching in person and following at home!!!

Congratulations to all our Women’s Club Champions this season!!! Jordan Cornelius won her third Women’s Club Championship is a great match over defending champion Cindy Tanenbaum. Gail Dufek took home the Net 9-Hole Women’s Club Championship over Pam Weiss. Betsy Silver won our Net 18-Hole Women’s Club Championship by 1 stroke over Akemi Maegawa. Thank you to everyone that played and for those came out to support all the matches!!!

As summer is approaching to an end we would like to thank and celebrate all our junior golfers for being part of another great wednsday junior golf program. We are all about our junior golfers and are extremely of the progress each one of you made during this summer golf at BCC!

Congratulations to Nathan and Sydney Brenneman for winning the 2023 Parent and Child Tournament. Congratulations also to Steve and Cole Martin for winning the Father and Son division, Margaret and Tommy Pilkington for winning the Mother and Son division, and Nathan and Sydney for winning the Father and Daughter division. Thank you to all 52 parents and children who participated in the event!

Please join us in congratulating Bethesda CC’s own Dugan McCabe in winning the 73rd Bubby Worsham Memorial Championship!!! We as a club have always share a special connection with this historic junior championship and it’s name sake Bubby Worsham (BCC member). Dugan now gets to add his name to this prestigious trophy that includes the likes of Arnold Palmer. There was lots of great golf over the last two days and thank you to all the participants that played and continue to make this a special event every year!!!

Congratulations to all our winners from the 2023 Junior Club Championship! Thomas Chalfant won the 2023 Junior Club Championship and Cole Martin won the Junior Club Championship 1st Flight. Andrew Lu was victorious in the 2nd Flight and Andie Greenberg was the winner of our Girls Flight. Thank you to everyone that participated and can’t wait for the next years championship!
