📣 Big news! Our Self-Rescue Fundamentals class is now offered at an accessible rate as part of our 2026 focus on the core values and mission that drive East Outdoors.
❤️🩹 One of our core values is building healthy communities, which we are already proud to do with our affinity group and education partners, and our focus on teaching tested and constantly-updated best practices for a safer, savvier local climbing community. Now we’re making a direct investment in building the healthiest community possible by making our best-selling Self Rescue 1: Fundamentals available to everyone, forever, at our most accessible rate with sliding scale options. We believe these skills are critical for everyone who climbs outside - whether you're interested in top rope or trad, leading or following, by the roadside or deep in the backcountry, this class starts stocking your toolbox with system and critical thinking skills to make you a smarter, more confident climber everywhere you go.

- Self-Rescue 1: Fundamentals is now offered at $90.
- Sliding scale available starting at $30, with pay-it-forward options if you would like to help make this program permanently sustainable
- If you already took Self Rescue I this year at full retail, you will be refunded the difference :D
