ATTENTION
Potlatch City
Pool is looking for a FULL time manager of the city pool
This job will be from June to late August ☀️

Certification Needed:
The must haves you need:
Your water operations license
(obtain with the Health Department)
CPR/AED certification (adults and infants)
Bloodborn pathogens (optional)
Swim instructor license a plus to do swim lessons you or a lifeguard will need this
You will need to find at least 4 to 5 licensed lifeguards they can be certified at the age of 15

Be able to maintain the water level and chemicals of the pool daily
You must be able to work strongly with kids and adults
You need to be able to have a crew of lifeguards working for you and manage them
(this also means Finding a crew of lifeguard’s to work every summer)
You will need to be able to organize swim lessons usually two sets a summer
Organize other events that happen at the pool
You will need to be able to run the office and snack shack and make daily deposits and keep track of them
Organizational skills a MUST
You will need to be able to keep track of the daily records of the pool and the maintenance
Keep the furnace and pumps running
Chemical dumps on Saturday evening when closed
Keeping all chemicals stocked and ordered each year
Chemicals put away in proper area enclosed area

Maintain the ground area keep it looking nice
Do all the shopping for the concession stands and things you need at the pool(many trips a summer)

This is a fun summer job but it also comes with some responsibilities as you will have many little lives that you are responsible for every day of the summer
Pool is open Monday through Saturday and sundays closed for cleaning and chemicals but optional for private pool parties on sundays or has been in the previous years
The best part of the pool is to run it and let the kids have a fun summer but also make sure to keep it a safe one as well

And that is a Wrap for Me and all the girls. We would like to thank the city and all of the community for entrusting us with all your little humans❤️. I have had around 40 plus gaurds run through and have watched each of them become the humans they are from lifeguard to doctors, nurses, full time mommas, hospital workers, service men but most of all they all followed each one of their dreams and have never forgotten where they come from❣️ I really didn’t think it would be as hard to walk away because of all the countless hours and craziness but it is. But I am so ready for someone to make it their fun with the kids! I cannot be more thankful for all of the memories that I will take with me forever❤️ If you are interested then get ahold of the city they will need someone to manage and some life guards for next year🤙. My last shout out goes to Hope Burnett! This girl came
To the pool to be a lifeguard 12 years ago with me. She has went with all
The crazy ideas weather they would work out or not we tried and some conquering and other maybe flopped. She has helped head up swim lessons and help keep them organized in many ways. Then she worked her way into being the assistant manager. With this comes a huge responsibility of all the humans big and small at the pool. She did amazing w it. She had a few times she was nervous and scared when Tim called and broke a bone or two and I had to leave at that minute. The last break happened two days before Potlatch days and so I had to leave her in charge of it all and that is NOT an easy day to handle but she did it with Grace❤️. It has been fun watching hope grow into the person that she is today a loving aunty and now her dream of being a mommy! And we have been lucky enough this summer to bring Liam in to become a (pool rat) 🤣wishing her all the best luck after summer w her new adventures❤️ thanks Hope for all of you help love and support to me and the Potlatch pool! CRAZYDAILY

So we have to give a huge shout out to Vanessa and Conner! These two little humans have grown up at the pool! They have been the life gaurd Ginny pigs for everything good or bad 🤣. They have been through the long hot days when we are all tired and grouchy and hung it out with us! They have been the helpers with garbages and packing ice to the office. Thanks kiddos for being amazing and well keeping the girls on their toes and being their biggest fans all the time❤️ you have had some pretty amazing gaurds to look up to through out the years🤙 well expect you both to follow in their shoes or we’ll bare feet🙃
