Reminder the first tournament will be this Tuesday at Choctaw Country Club in Poteau. Sign ups will be inside club house so plan to be there early to sign up. $60 is the one time fee. You are allowed to caddy and everyone but the high school boys will play just 9 holes. If you are not able to make the first tournament, you can sign up at the next one. Thanks.

The Pirates wrapped up their season yesterday at the 4A State Tournament at Winter Creek! Incredible golf course and one of the best fields of High School golfers this state has seen. 22 rounds shot under par by this field! The Pirates improved their position from Day 1! The Pirates finished 11th out of 50 teams in 4A! Extremely impressive accomplishment! Garrison Whitworth finished 5th at the State Tournament! Coming back from a rough first 9 holes day 1 to shooting 6 under par for the next 27 holes including a final day 68! This group of guys not only represented their school and town proudly on the course but even more so off the course! Incredible group of young men!! We celebrate the accomplishments of our programs tonight at our Golf Banquet!! Go Pirates!!

It was a tough day on the course for the Pirates, but proud of the resilience they showed! They battled against a tough golf course, and an impressive field, the Pirates will look to improve their position tomorrow!! Garrison Whitworth battled back from a tough first round and shot -2 70 to get himself back into the Top 10! Plenty to play for tomorrow!! Excited to watch them play one more time in the 2026 season! The Pirates will tee it up tomorrow in the 4A State Tournament at Winter Creek Golf & Social Club in Blanchard! This will be the deepest and one of the most talented tournaments in our state this year! The boys will play 54 holes. 36 tomorrow and 18 on Tuesday! We are looking forward to watching them compete!! The Lady Pirates wrapped up their season at the 4A state tournament today! The girls battled through round 2 to improve on their round 1 score by 21 shots! The Lady Pirates finished 11th out of 38 girls teams in 4A! A massive accomplishment! Addison Sockey put together a fantastic two days! Shooting 88-86 to finish 9th!! A huge accomplishment earned to finish top 10 in 4A!! Couldn’t be more proud of how these girls represent themselves and our school on and off the course! Go Lady Pirates!!

Very tough day to play golf today but girls battled through it to get through day 1! 30-40 mph winds and extremely difficult greens to play. Today was highlighted by Addison Sockey shooting an 88 to put her in 7th place overall after round 1! One more day to go for the Lady Pirates!

The Lady Pirates will tee it up tomorrow morning at the 4A Girls State Tournament at one of the famous golf courses in our state! Dornick Hills in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The original creation by the legendary golf architect Perry Maxwell. The girls will play 36 holes, 18 holes both Monday and Tuesday to determine the team and individual state champions! It is gonna be a tough test but a great opportunity for our girls to compete!! Download the OSSAA golf app posted below to follow along throughout the day! Our tee times are also posted below!! The Pirates are headed to state!!!!! The Pirates finished 3rd place to cap off a marathon day at the 4A regional at Wolf Mountain! The Pirates finished as the best public school in a loaded field of great golfers!! Garrison Whitworth finished in a T-2nd with two rounds of 72 (even par)! This is a resilient group of kids and nothing shows that better than 36 holes! Proud of this group they earned this accomplishment!! They will compete in the toughest state tournament of any class on May 11th and 12th at Winter Creek Golf & Social Club in Blanchard! Huge thank you to Chase Brooks, and all the staff at Wolf Mountain for making this regional run so smoothly!! Thank you to our parents and supporters in New Oak Construction for providing the food and drinks for all the kids at the tournament! Go Pirates!!

The Pirates are hosting one of the three OSSAA 4A Regional tournaments tomorrow at Wolf Mountain . They will play 2 rounds (36 holes) to decide what teams and individuals will make the state tournament! It is a stacked field as well, 7 teams ranked in the top 20 playing for 4 spots!
