Junior High fall sports practices will be starting this Wednesday, August 19!

Volleyball - Meet at the Northeast Iowa Wellness and Recreation Center
Football - Meet at the Football Field
Cross Country - Meet at the Track

Athletes must have the Sports/Athletic Physical and Concussion forms completed and submitted to participate in practices or games

Practices will begin this Wednesday, August 19th, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm and continue at the same time on Thursday and Friday

Practice Dates During School:
-Students will practice every school day until 5:15–5:30 PM
-Wednesdays and Early Outs: Students must return to school for practice at 3:30 PM

Required Athletic Clothing:
Shorts
T-shirt
VB - Gym shoes / FB - Cleats / XC - Running Shoes
VB - Knee pads
The school will provide all other equipment at no cost

Expectations:
-Show Up To All Practices and Games
-Only a parent can excuse a Junior High athlete with a valid reason
-Parents must notify the school or the coach (Ideally, 24 hours in advance)

¡Los entrenamientos deportivos de otoño de la escuela secundaria comenzarán este miércoles 19 de agosto!

Los atletas deben tener completos y entregados los formularios de examen físico deportivo y de conmoción cerebral para poder participar en los entrenamientos o partidos.

Los entrenamientos comenzarán este miércoles 19 de agosto, de 15:30 a 17:30, y continuarán en el mismo horario el jueves y el viernes.

Fechas de práctica durante el período escolar:
-Los estudiantes practicarán todos los días escolares de 5:15 a 5:30 p. m.
-Miércoles y salidas tempranas: Los estudiantes deben regresar a la escuela para practicar a las 3:30 p. m.

Indumentaria deportiva requerida:
Bermudas
Camiseta
VB - Zapatillas de gimnasio / FB - Botas de fútbol / XC - Zapatillas para correr
VB - Rodilleras
La escuela proporcionará todo el equipo adicional sin costo alguno.

Esperanzas de heredar:
-Preséntate a todos los entrenamientos y partidos.
-Solo un padre o tutor puede excusar a un atleta de secundaria por una razón válida.
-Los padres deben notificar a la escuela o al entrenador. (Idealmente, con 24 horas de antelación)

This summer, we’re offering multiple opportunities for athletes to improve their strength, conditioning, and overall performance in the weight room!

The weight room will be open 4 days a week with 3 available sessions each day.

📅 Days Open:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (After Memorial Day)

📍 Start Date:
Tuesday, May 26

⏰ Session Times:
• Session 1: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
• Session 2: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Session 3: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (Beginner/ JH workouts offered during this session, but open to all athletes)
