Today marks 18 years since Mike Monsoor earned the United States highest military honor. Mike did this saving the lives of his 3 teammates on a rooftop in Ramadi Iraq. One of those teammates is a friend of mine and I could never express what 18 years of friendship has meant to me and my family. Mike, thanks for being the hero you are.

It was 80 years ago today that the greatest generation showed up on shores of foreign lands and began to free an opposed continent. They ran head first into a fortified coastline and began liberating the continent. Everyone who took up arms on are behalf is a hero. Make sure you take a minute today to recognize their sacrifice!!!
