Have you been wanting to try out Mounted Shooting? Our New Shooter Clinics are the perfect opportunity! We have two clinics coming up: one on October 3rd and one on October 4th in Colbert, WA. Both clinics are over halfway full so make sure you register soon to hold your spot.

There are 3 participation options:
1) Rider - bring your horse and participate in the full clinic day. Includes lunch.

2) Ground Shooter - join us in the arena for part one of the clinic, learn to shoot, and walk through the ground shooting courses. Includes lunch.

3) Auditor - watch the full clinic day and learn more about the sport. Includes lunch.

We are deeply saddened by the amount of loss in Spokane this weekend and our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost their homes and all of the firefighters and emergency responders who have been tirelessly fighting the fires in Spokane County.

Because of the smoke, the dry unstable conditions, and in consideration of the many folks who are still displaced, we will not be practicing this week.

We’ll post again when our next practice is scheduled.

Participation options:

Rider $250 - includes the full clinic, ground shooting, desensitization training for your horse, riding some courses, and lunch (each clinic day is limited to 10 riders) you must be 12 or older to ride

Ground Shooter $100 - includes participation in the first half of the clinic, ground shooting, auditing the afternoon riding portion, and lunch (no horse is permitted for ground shooter participants)

Auditor $50 - includes observing the entire clinic and lunch

Hope everyone’s travels home went well. We have an air pod that was found in the arena if anyone is missing one.

Also there is a bridle w a chain bit, 3 flag boots, and a Rayban glasses charger case that seem to have gone missing from the bench near the out gate of the arena. Please let us know if this inadvertently made it into someone’s rig.

Andrea and Heather will check out your self pens to get your cleaning deposits back right before you pull out. They’re wearing gray and maroon sweatshirts if you’re looking for them. 😊 If you’re staying for awards we’ll catch you after. The tractor will be going around to help with dumping after we’re done shooting. Please pick up manure and all loose hay from your pens.

Awards will be about an hour after last shot by the BBQ truck.
