Golden hour, great company, and a Newport victory 🏆

The home team earned its first win of the season with a 13–11 victory over Boston, making for an unforgettable afternoon on the polo grounds.

We were honored to welcome Marcus Vaughn, the current member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 9th Norfolk district, who joined us for the ceremonial coin toss and trophy presentation. Charlie Holder, the mayor of Newport, joined us for this incredible city series matchup and we look forward to him joining us for our Pittsburg match. Thank you both for joining us yesterday!

This Saturday, one of polo's most exciting modern rivalries returns to the field. Newport presently has a slim lead in the series, as the defending champion after last year’s record-setting score of 17-15. But when these two teams meet, the past means very little once the ball is thrown in.
