TWENTY YEARS AGO — in 2006 — 13 Portsmouth Little Leaguers and their coaches took the New England Region title all the way to Williamsport and have been Seacoast youth baseball legends ever since!

Players and coaches have generously given their time over the years to talk to our district teams, even donating to help the 2026 team get to Bristol!

This past weekend, players and coaches gathered for a reunion.

“The reunion served as a reminder that while championships and accomplishments fade with time, the friendships forged during one unforgettable summer remain as strong as ever.”

Before our 12YOs were able to play in Bristol, we had to get there!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all of the support!
- City of Portsmouth and Mayor McEachern for the words of encouragement and pins representing the City!
- MB2 Restore for the support of the team’s jerseys, helmets, jackets — and donuts at the send off!
- C&J Bus Lines for a safe and fun ride, complete with snacks and drinks!
- The Kubesch and Cresta families for helping us afford a comfortable ride!
- Portsmouth Police Department, Greenland Police Department and NH State Police for the es**rt out of NH.
- The friends, families, neighbors and baseball fans that showed up to send these boys off!

Are you watching the Little League World Series?

We are — and we are cheering on Bridgewater Little League, the New England Region champions, in their game at 3 p.m. vs. the Great Lakes region.

PLL players and coaches also got to know many of the players from New Jersey (Metro) and Pennsylvania (Mid-Atlantic) while staying in the dorms in Bristol for Opening Ceremonies and their two games.

Memories for a lifetime — and still so grateful for so much support from our community!

On Sunday, August 9, Portsmouth Little League participated in the Red Sox pre-game parade and 15 kids—our top fundraisers in 2026–got to be with the team during the National Anthem!

We ♥️ our annual day with the Boston Red Sox!

💙⚾️Your East Regional Tournament journey has come to an end. This team is everything New Hampshire loves about its athletes — grit, heart, teamwork, and the kind of determination that makes an entire state stop and cheer.

Even though the road ended earlier than any of us hoped, you walked off that field with something bigger than a trophy: the respect and pride of everyone back home.

You represented Portsmouth and all of NH with class, sportsmanship, and fire. Hold your heads high — you earned every bit of the applause coming your way.New Hampshire is proud of you!💙⚾️
