Despite a thief stealing the bike out of Larry Moore's sporting goods window for the raffle,we are still proceeding forward tomorrow from 1 to 4 in the old PHS boys gym. Tickets will continue to be sold up until 2 o'clock. To get tickets you can stop in at the 14th Street Community Ctr., Larry more sporting goods or you can call 740– 961–0687. The KBA & The ESBA are hosting a 3 on 3 tournament Friday August 1st - 2nd in Bannon Park for grades 9-12. This is double elimination and there will be first and second place winners only. Spots are limited and all teams must be registered before 7/28/2014. Cost is $45 per team. For more information call 740-961-0687.

This weekend the Bannon Park classics opened a new jr.division teams showed up from as far has Huntington. I am very proud to say that with coaching from sky Oliver and Wayne Johnson by my side we took 2 place. My joy comes from we took kids from different KBA teams without any team practice and played against two and there year teams. These boys played with the true spirit of basketball. Thank you young men for your sweat and determination. Next year WE TAKE IT ALL!!!

KBA ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!

For the past few years the level of the KBA has dropped and of course that's my fault, so to get the league back to shape we are joining with ESBA ELITE. The ESBA teaches the basics and fundamentals, they are year round and the ONLY WAY to play in the KBA is to go through the ESBA. This merger will take affect after the end of the KBA 2014 SEASON.
