Portsmouth takes on Cranston West for the RI state 10u championship! ⚾️

🍂 Portsmouth Little League Fall Ball Registration is NOW OPEN! ⚾

Keep the baseball and softball season going this fall! Fall Ball is a great opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, gain confidence, and have fun with teammates.

This week’s Portsmouth All-Star schedule and some info on each of the tournaments. A lot of championship caliber baseball and a lot on the line!

Our youngest All-Stars are participating in the Christopher Andreozzi Memorial Baseball Tournament that runs from July 25 to August 8, 2026, hosted by the Darlington American Little League at Slater Memorial Park in Pawtucket. It is for players 7-8 yo and leagues from across RI compete. It is a great introduction for them to real competitive tournament baseball in a fun atmosphere. Everyone that participates loves this tournament! Portsmouth is currently 1-0 in pool play.

The Ron Silva District 2 Little League All-Star tournament is for minors players age 8-10 and is limited to district 2 leagues. It is extremely competitive over the course of a month and prepares players for future district play. Portsmouth is in the championship game Tuesday night after posting a 4-1 record!

The Portsmouth 10u All-Star team (8-10yo) is currently participating in the 10u State Tournament after capturing the District 2 title. They will play in the finals Thursday night after knocking of District 3 champion North Kingstown and District 1 champion Cranston West this past weekend. The winner of the state 10u title moves on to the regional tournament where they will compete against 11 other state champions.

Our annual Portsmouth Little League Invitational Golf Tournament is right around the corner, and we're asking for your support!

As a nonprofit organization, this tournament is our largest fundraisers of the year. The funds raised help provide uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, safety improvements, and other essential resources that allow us to continue offering a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every baseball and softball player. With league registration continuing to grow and our softball program doubling in size over the past three years, your support is more important than ever.

Portsmouth pulled off a thrilling 4-3 win in extra innings to knock off a strong North Kingstown team. Great pitching kept things close until some timely hitting and heads up base running pushed the winning run across the plate!!
Join us tonight back under the lights in Warwick as the boys take on Cranston West. A lot is at stake. Winner of this game locks in a spot in the championship series!!!

⚾️ *Championship Game* ⚾️
The Portsmouth LL Ron Silva (9-10yo) team has moved on to the championship game for the district 2 Ron Silva tournament!
The team is now 4-1 after defeating Bristol and Rumford in the knockout bracket.
They will now play at Barrington on Tuesday July 28 for the trophy! 🏆
This team is fast, fearless, and focused on bringing Portsmouth another District 2 championship banner. ⚾️ Make the ride over the bridge to support this crew.

The Portsmouth 10U District 2 champions begin their quest for the state championship Saturday night under the lights at Kiltzer Field in Warwick.
The double elimination tournament continues on Sunday (Time TBD)
