Qawiun Do is a Futuwwa inspired hybrid Martial Arts style and school, focused on but not limited to, Pasundan Pencak Silat, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kempo Karate. Our head instructors are, Bapak, Ismail Sujadi and Sobom, Adeel Shaikh. Qawiun Do (Strong Art) is the art of self defense and combat. We are a nonprofit Martial Arts school based in Seacoast New Hampshire and Maine. Our reward is sharing our knowledge to dedicated students and to help them thrive in this life and beyond.

Already during Sulami's lifetime, the principles of brother-hood, loyalty, love, and honor derived from the code of Sufi chivalry had begun to produce a distinct class of people with
special social responsibilities. Later, during the reign of Caliph al-Nasir al-Din Allah (11 80-1 125 C.E.; A.H. 575-622), the rank of Futuwwah was accorded to worthy princes and dignitaries. Such men were ceremonially dressed in special vestments and made to drink from the cup of knighthood. The images of the cup and the vestment appeared on their coats of arms. The oaths they swore were unconditionally respected.

In Syria, the members of this brotherhood were responsible for the rebellion against the heretical Rafidites.
