We’re excited to announce that 33 athletes have already registered for the 2026 Battlehawks Summer Skills Camp!

Athletes entering grades 3-8 will spend three days learning position specific skills from former NFL quarterback Quinton Porter, Battlehawks coaches, and current/former collegiate athletes through station-based instruction focused on skill development, athletic performance, and competition in a non-contact environment.

It’s hard to believe the season is already over.

Over the past few months, we’ve watched these athletes grow not only as football players, but as teammates, leaders, and young men. The relationships they’ve built and the progress they’ve made have been incredible to watch.

Many of these boys lined up against each other in the fall. This spring, they came together as teammates, competed hard every day on the practice field, pushed each other to improve, and built friendships that will last far beyond a single season.

Now they return to their fall programs with new skills, greater confidence, and a higher standard for what football can look like. Every season, we believe that’s how we help raise the level of play across Southern Maine—one athlete, one team, and one community at a time.

We’re proud of what this group accomplished and grateful for every family that trusted us with their athlete’s development.

We can’t wait to see these boys back in a Battlehawks uniform next season, but for now, go back to your fall teams, lead by example, compete hard, and kick some butt.

We’ll be cheering for every one of you this fall.

A successful inaugural season doesn’t happen without community support.

92 Athletes. 34 Maine Communities. One Battlehawks Family.

What started as an idea has grown into a program that brought together athletes from across Southern Maine during our inaugural season.

Players from Sanford, Scarborough, Falmouth, S**o, Lebanon, Arundel, Biddeford, and dozens of other communities came together to compete, develop, and build something special.

From our youngest players in 9U to our oldest athletes in 14U, every team helped establish the foundation of what the Casco Bay Battlehawks will become.

Thank you to our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors for believing in the vision and helping make Year 1 a success.

This is just the beginning.

🏈 11U BATTLEHAWKS 🏈

This season didn’t go the way we hoped on the scoreboard, but that doesn’t define this team.

For three months, these young athletes showed up, worked hard, and continued to battle through adversity. Week after week, they faced challenges and never quit.

Anybody can keep working when things are going well. Character is built when things aren’t.

Nobody remembers what trophy you won when you were 11 years old. What people remember is the person you became. They remember the teammate who never quit, the athlete who kept showing up, and the young man who chose to keep working when things got difficult.

This team showed resilience, toughness, and a commitment to each other that deserves to be recognized.

The lessons learned this season will last far longer than any win-loss record ever could.

Keep your heads high, boys. We are proud of you.

Go out there and crush it in the fall. We will see you back next season!
