SUMMER 2015 LACROSSE
Why Play With Western Region Nationals
• Coaches are current and former college coaches and athletes who demand excellence on and off the field, athletes leave the program with a clear understanding of what is expected of them at the next level
• College level theory injected through pre event documents, game day adjustments, and film review
• National team format allows players to meet athletes from all over the country
• Teams stay together in team hotels or dorms to simulate life on the road as a college athlete
• College recuitment, we pick the right events, we work hard for our families before and after events
• Uniforms designed for college coaches
• Tournament schedule flexibility (play one event or the whole season)
• We want you to honor your Club team.. so flexibility to play events that don’t conflict.
• Recommendations into events like Top 205, Super Sophs, National 175, Maverick Showtime, California Gold Invitational, etc.
Teams operated at cost; results in inexpensive team and event dues.
Roster Selection
Rosters will be determined by application, recommendation, and invitation.
Athletes graduating in 2016, 2017, 2018, are eligible to apply.
Rosters will be capped at 22 to ensure playing time and player safety. We need to make sure the boys are fresh for tournaments and for their local teams. Playing time will be divided up evenly during games with the exception of the man up unit, which will be determined by the coaching staff.
Western Region Nationals is a highly selective program . We're looking forward to working with dedicated athletes who want:
• to play with and meet teammates from all over the country
• have a high Lacrosse IQ
• to play for and in front of college coaches throughout the summer
• to play against superior competition
• to finish the summer with graduate level understanding of unsettled and settled lacrosse
• to finish the summer with a thorough understanding of where they stand in the recruiting process
the opportunity to play in front of over 120 coaches at three events
Players receive professional and highly qualified coaching, college consulting, player evaluation following the last tournament, game film from each tournament, help with a customized profile, uniform, housing & meals (depending on event), and more.
We selected tournaments because of the club teams scheduled to be in attendance, the number of college coaches who have attended previously, the tournament directors involved, the facilities, and the experiences we've had with these organizations in the past.
