It's always better to BE ACTIVE with warm muscles. So, before every 5K, we lead our participants through a simple warm-up:

Body-weight lunges, squats, high knee raises, trunk twists, scoops, etc., and we end with some invisible jump-roping.

It's not only a great way to prime the body to work hard, but it's also a hilarious way to bond before we head out.

For years, Ferment has been one of our favorite stops in a season filled with LOTS of great stops, and every September we're reminded why.

Perched on the Columbia River in Hood River, Ferment combines incredible craft b**r, panoramic Gorge views, and one of the most welcoming patios in Oregon. Our family always makes it a priority to stop here whenever we're in the Gorge for a day of fun.

Ferment is known for thoughtfully crafted b**rs, an outstanding food menu, and a commitment to sustainability. Ferment has become a destination for runners, hikers, cyclists, and b**r lovers from across the Pacific Northwest.
