Greetings Friends. Long time.

We're celebrating Spring again this year.... but it is bittersweet. We lost Cody this fall... but I know for a fact that he would want the show to go on. That's who he was. With that said...

Registration for the 2024 Cody Hartman Spring Celebration at Buxton Woods Powered by Innova & Drops will be contested March 30-31 at Buxton Woods and LL "Stub" Stewart State Park.

There are still spots available in the event. There are still opportunities to sponsor the event or contribute to a memorial bench we are crowd-sourcing. We have some amazing discs for purchase, as well. So even if you cannot attend the event, there is a little something that everyone can do.

2024 Cody Hartman Spring Celebration at Buxton Woods Presented by Innova & Drops is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Buxton, Oregon beginning March 30, 2024 and hosted by Sam Gibson.

Hi. It's me. Lunchtime League.

OK... It's not because all of you are actually Lunchtime League.

I am leaving tomorrow for a new adventure and I really am struggling to see you all and say goodbye without weeping. I will be in my usual parking spot at the student center today about 4pm until they close.

Please come by and say farewell.

Just an FYI.... Lunchtime League results for years prior to 2015 are currently unavailable. Yahoo Groups has removed all group data from their site but they have made it so that we can download that data. I have requested that data but it could be a little bit before I receive it. Once I have received it, I will put it up on the website where it will live for eternity.

This was the league that I intended to run. I am so grateful to each and every one of you who attended this year and in years past. Without you guys showing up every week... in all types of weather... to play on a course over asphalt... often times in groups of 6... none of this would have ever happened. I am blown away at what we achieved at our little church course.

Well, this is it, folks! We have reached week 18 of the 2019 season. As you are probably aware, this will be the final week of Lunchtime League for the year and beyond. What rises from the ashes remains to be seen.

So... THIS WEEK IS JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER WEEK... except we will have 2 awards ceremonies. If you are not in the top 20, you can still pay your $5 entry + $1 (optional) Ace Pot and play with your friends who are also not in the top 20.

If you are in the top 20, you still pay your $5 entry + $1 (optional) Ace Pot. You will be on holes 1-4 depending on where you fall in the top 20. Your cards for this evening are set.

Our Ace Pot is at $78 before sign-ups as there were no aces last week.

Time will be tight so we are sticking to a 445-525 registration and will be teeing off by 545. It was dark last night at 730 so please play quickly so we can get to the awards.

Friends, it is only fitting that the last Lunchtime League should come down to the wire in a fashion unlike one we have ever seen.

1st place and 2nd place are now separated by 1 point. They both throw out the exact same score as their low score. They both have a handicap within 0.08 of each other.

Ian Blake leads Mat Owens 847 points to 846 points. Ian and Mat both drop a 49. Ian's handicap of 6.96 and Mat's handicap of 6.88 could be the determining factor.

And here's the kicker. If they tie in week 18, Mat will beat Ian for the week by 0.08 strokes. That is close enough that they could be separated in the week standings by 1 point with Matty getting the edge... leading to a tie after the finals.
