Mrs. Marla's Academy of Dance My name is Marla Clements, and I am a licensed dance instructor specializing in: Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Tap, Tumble, Hip-Hop and Jazz.

My name is Marla Clements and I have been dancing since I was a young child at the age of 4. I first developed my love for dance by watching my sisters dance. I have been teaching for over 30 years and I have a Bachelors degree in ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobat. I am a certified member of Chicago National Association of Dance Masters since 1983. My sister and I have studied and trained in Chicago during my summers as a teen and young adult with such professionals as Fred Kelly (brother of Gene Kelly), Gus Giordano, Elizabeth Carroll, Terrell Paulk, Tommy Sutton and Tom Relabate (all renowned dancers in the dance industry). I have choreographed The Mrs Tn mother/daughter pageant as well as danced and judged many other events in the Nashville and surrounding counties. Many of my students are second and third generation. It is my greatest accomplishment to have a former student bring his/her own child back to dance with me. It is my sincere wish to inspire, encourage, motivate and assist students of all ages. I teach my classes with a Godly spirit. I believe the way to encourage a child is through lots of praise and support while having fun. I hope to instill a confidence, determination, commitment and a LOVE for dance that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

What a great sport he was to hang out with a cute group of girls all evening. ❤️✨ The more I think about it…I’m not sure if he’s a great brother or a really smart one bc these sweet girls are some cutie patooties and he was the center of attention! 😁😂

✨Parents, there is a pep rally and music on main schedule for tonight. I will stand at the back door to make sure your children get in the building safely if you want to just drop them off to bypass the parking issue. This will hopefully keep you from having to walk.
