We spent the morning chasing big bugs and bug eats and we report back to you, wait to the end to see the results! Things are heating up and the bugs are pairing up and getting active. This is the time of year we all wait for!

Be sure to stop in the shop to get all geared up. We’ve got a large selection of patterns for everything you will need for success as well as all the other fixings you need (7.5FT leader, dry shake, etc), and maybe if you’ve been thinking about it that new dry fly rod.

Our crew is on the water fishing and guiding nearly every day and we will help steer you in the right direction.

Well hello there little fella!

Salmonfly and stonefly season is on its way! This little guy couldn’t help but show his brothers and sisters that it’s close to time, emerging from its shuck.

Stay in tune with what’s happening on the Deschutes River here, we are going to be spending a lot of time over there in the coming weeks and will be doing updates on all our social channels as well as our weekly newsletter.

Big streamers, big eats, big bass

We are already getting our bass season kicked off in the Pacific Northwest with some early pre-spawn action. Water temperatures are only 51°-53°, but the fish are getting heated up for spawn, and it's only going to get better.

Find out what we're loving about the season already, including two of our guides choice rods right now. The Big Game and Arrow have proven to be great sticks this season for big flies, sinking lines and strong spring winds on our big rivers.

Weather was fantastic, fish were looking up, and we officially announced via IG Live that our Crooked River permit is active and we can now guide you on this incredible river.
