Does anyone want to start up the Saturday morning ride again? If someone could step up and be a ride leader that would be a big help. The ride will be a little slower then the PVC ride and much safer! Anyone?

The Scarborough Crit Series wrapped up yesterday and we've posted the results from yesterday's race as well as the final overall standings. Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who helped out.

7-Weeks. $10.00 per week. $60.00 for the series. Get a FREE race if you pre-pay for the entire series at registration on the first day only. Proceeds help fund Southern Maine Cycling Club events and activities.

Hey there Facebook. On Saturday we had a $2000 bike -Giant Trance X29 4, size Large, charcoal - stolen from our Portland store by the person pictured here. If you have any information about this theft, the person pictured or anything that could help us recover the bike we are offering a reward for information that helps us resolve this situation. Please give us a call at the Portland store (207-773-1700). Wished your girlfriend or wife enjoyed cycling as much as you...well tell them about our 8th Annual Girls and Gears Night this Friday from 5:30-7:30pm. This all-women event is a great way for women to connect with other riders of all levels while enjoying an evening out with food, wine, massages, bike demos and a great giveaway...how about winning a Specialized Bike! The door proceeds go to the Women's Cancer Fund. The space is limited, so get her registered and meet her afterwards to hear how great the night was. The club is looking for a member to work the 2014 Crit Series with Jim Smith this spring. It is 7 Sunday mornings starting April 6th. Job consists of setting up road signs at 7am, working registration with Jim, starting the two races, and clean up after. Must commit to all seven weeks. Work with a USA cycling official and watch some great racing!
