Portland Petanque Club

Portland Petanque Club Players of all levels, from beginner to veteran, kids and adults, are welcome to join us for the French Game of Petanque. Annual membership is only $40!

Our club is located on the north end of Westmoreland Park in SE Portland. We play Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and often in the summer on Friday nights. No membership is necessary, unless you want to play competitions and have access to the courts outside of the published hours. Come check us out. We offer free lessons.

The Cascadia Cup has been claimed for 2026 and one of the country’s newest Petanque clubs is the Pacific Northwest Team Champion!

Congratulations to the Oregon Petanque Alliance (OPA) for their successful weekend-long campaign on the courts of the Portland Petanque Club!

Six teams from Oregon and Washington competed in six side-by-side tournaments in Singles, Doubles, and Triples matches in a round robin format where each team faced all others at some point over the weekend. The weather was perfect, the competition was top notch, and most importantly, the camaraderie within and between the clubs was first and foremost. When it all shook out and points were totaled, the teams finished in the following order:

🥈 Port Townsend Petanque Alliance
🥉 Portland Petanque Club
4th Seattle Petanque Club
5th Eugene Petanque International Club
6th Edmonds Petanque Club
