So stoked for all of this, especially HooptieX. Unfortunately a pretty small chance I'll have the new engine in and everything done in The Deuce to get it driving by then. ALL the wiring & plumbing after mounting it before we can even fire it up. Might have to run parade lap speed in the Participation Trophy Truck instead, its max speed, LOL.

Soon. Things are happening. Getting it done in time for this year's OG is a stretch, but still trying.

The ultimate πŸ¦„. 1 of 3 222D's left. The other 2 are owned by Toyota and sit in museums in Japan & Germany. This was Toyota's Group S AWD turbo rally monster, based loosely on the AW11 MR2. Unfortunately all of Group S was canceled in '86 when Group B was ended, and this one never got to properly compete. Group S was meant to be the successor to Group B rally.
This car's rear engine lid is what the fiberglass one I'm putting on the Deuce of Hazzard was modeled after. Mine will utilize the top air scoop for the intake vent to get clean air to the engine.

If you've somehow been living under a rock and don't know the history of this series, go read up and watch some of the past ones. So great to see Travis behind the wheel of this sweet Brat build, and down under in the land of kangaroos.

The most complete and incredible collection of vintage rally cars from the 60's through the 90's I've ever seen. They have almost everything. They also have an incredible road racing collection, as well as a non-racing collection. The best part? They still regularly race all these cars in various races around the world.
