🖤💛 A DECADE OF PENINSULA WRESTLING 💛🖤

This video takes us back to the 2016–2017 season. Ten years later, look at what they accomplished:

🤼 14 became high school state placers
🔥 22 qualified for Fargo
🎓 8 went on to wrestle in college
🏅 10 became youth or high school referees
📋 1 now organizes national wrestling tournaments
📣 3 became a high school coach
💪 2 became a youth coach
🐾 11 are still competing in high school
🏈 2 College non-wrestling athletes.

Most of these kids continued wrestling all the way through high school. Some of the youngest wrestlers in this video are still partners on Tuesdays and Thursdays. More than a few still consider one another best friends.

That is what Peninsula Wrestling Club is about. The wins and medals matter—but the friendships, mentors, memories and lifelong connections matter even more.

As we get ready for the 2026–2027 season, we are not just welcoming another group of wrestlers. We are welcoming the next generation into something that can shape their lives for years to come.

Ten years of wrestling.
Ten years of friendships.
Ten years of Pitt Gritt.

This is how we became family.

Now it is time to begin the next chapter. Let’s get back to work! 🖤💛

Before your wrestler steps onto the mat, make sure you have all three wrestling accounts ready. They are not duplicates—each serves a different purpose:

🤼 USA Wrestling Membership
Your wrestler’s official USA Wrestling membership and ID, is required to practice with the club and for USA Wrestling-sanctioned events.

📊 USA Bracketing
Used for USA Wrestling events, registration, live brackets, mat assignments, results and alerts.

🏆 Trackwrestling / myTRACK
Still used by many tournaments for registration, brackets, results and wrestler records.

Parent reminder: Use the same spelling of your wrestler’s name, birthdate and club in all three systems. Select Peninsula Wrestling Club as the primary club, avoid creating duplicate profiles and save the wrestler’s USA Wrestling ID number.

Peninsula Wrestling Club practices begin Monday, September 14, 2026!

5:30–7:30 PM

💪 HIGH SCHOOL PRACTICES
Tuesdays & Thursdays
8:00–9:30 PM

Champions are built one hard practice at a time. Bring your goals. Bring your toughness. Bring your PITT GRITT!

Reminder. We have started our summer break. The plan is to start 2027 on September 21, 2026. Keep an eye out. We may move the start date up a week.
