Our 7th grade boys competed at Legacy Courts in Lafayette and went 3-0. This group has made massive improvements during this season that will help them contribute towards their school teams this upcoming season. Great job fellas!

This Freshman group is special. From day 1 they have gelled in a way that’s refreshing , yet difficult to understand. The improvement each one of these players has made over the past 7 weeks is remarkable in my opinion. Not just on the basketball side, more importantly..,. The character side. Bringing in ‘ol smiley this past weekend was a welcome addition. (Jordan Dues, FR). Can’t wait to see the progress they’ve made during their school season.

Northeastern sophomore,Luke Wiley rises up….. wait for it! Great weekend for our boys program. We have really made some progress and gained respect. We have a lot to share from this past weekend. Hope to share more photos soon.

Girls played hard today. Went 2-0 in pool play and lost a heart breaker in the championship game. Jumped out to a 11 to 2 lead to start the game and finished the first half up 16-8. Second half was fast paced and extremely physical. Just needed to make one more play but came up a little short.

Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 lost a close game to Legacy Force Future Stars 2034, 28-26.

Kinley P was the bright spot for Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 with scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.

Despite getting out to a 16-8 lead at halftime, Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 couldn't hold on for the victory. Trailing 20-11, Legacy Force Future Stars 2034 went on a 12-point run to take the lead.

The first half was the best for Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 as they outscored Legacy Force Future Stars 2034 16-8. Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 had 32 rebounds in the half.

Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 rebounded the ball well, collecting 49 rebounds. Aubrey V led the team with 13 rebounds. Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 stood tall, blocking four shots in the game. Also contributing for Midwest Explosion 2034/2035 were Brenna B (9 points), Bry P (2 points), and Maddy T (1 point).

Congratulations to Explosion alumni senior Serenity Pennington. Sorry I couldn’t be there as planned thx to the track sectionals being moved to tonight because of last nights storms. I would have been there!! So proud of you.
