Jefferson trailed by as many as four, but came back to defeat Franklin Varsity Lightning on Monday, 9-6. Jefferson amassed 15 hits in the game. Johnson led Jefferson with three runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup.The left fielder went 2-for-4 on the day.Geovanni Carsten Cornwell went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Jefferson in hits. Brave Johnson, Rempfer, DJ Gulley, and Carlos Chavarria each collected multiple hits for Jefferson. Cornwell and Johnson each stole multiple bases for Jefferson. Jefferson ran wild on the base paths, piling up six stolen bases for the game. Jefferson turned one double play in the game.Jefferson will travel to Ida B. Wells Varsity Guardians for their next game on Wednesday. Go Demos!!!⚾️⚾️⚾️🔥🔥🔥

RIP Hank Aaron. He was obviously an immensely talented player but he also fought for social change and equality during his Hall of Fame career, starting with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro League to his then record-setting 755 home runs with the Braves and the Brewers.
