Today marks the day won his first ever mini enduro! The whole team is so excited to see him drive so well this season and to celebrate a hard earned win with him. was his primary spotter, staged as crew chief giving both boys a solid car and tirelessly assisting with everything under the tent. Not only did Brennan get a win, but the one and only achieved his 94th career win this weekend, both on Saturday and Sunday. He also gave rides to kids during the fundraiser for the Soldier’s On Single Track charity and it seemed like these families really had a wonderful time. This is also the first weekend in A LONG TIME that the B-spec Kia was brought out of the garage.
Huge thanks to for the hospitality and of course our sponsors

really enjoyed having everyone he loves by his side to complete not one, but two WINS at the Super Hoosier Tour
It was first time running Hoosiers at his first national event and also impressed everyone with his lap times drastically improving and then making it to podium in P3.
The two drove with method and focus while and Ken worked behind the scenes to keep those cars running smooth! In Kyle’s words, the #44 car was “money”!
got to join Kyle for a victory lap which is a spot Kevin normally takes as the chief of this team, so when I say she feels lucky, she FEELS LUCKY! (It me, I feel lucky & yes, it was SO FUN)
Thanks to for bringing us delicious food as always and supporting everyone the way that you do!

Another race day and another WIN for . Way to go! racing finished P7 in our #17 car and finished p5 both showing improvements on the track! Incredibly excited to have them both at the track with us this weekend. They are always in good spirits and supportive in so many ways.

None of this would be possible without Kevin! The work he puts in to make sure everything runs smooth is always so much! When we make these improvements and wins, it’s because of the team behind the scenes!

Can’t wait for the next race! 🏁

Victory lap at Portland International Raceway! Proud of you Let’s keep up this momentum for the season!

If you haven’t met Brennan Gregg, you should next time you are at a Spec Miata race, local kart race or just the KBR Speed Shop. I met Brennan and John Gregg (his grandfather) at the KBR Speed Shop while working with Kevin and Kyle. They have been working with the KBR Speed Shop for quite some time and they have some deep history that goes a long while back.
I had the wonderful opportunity to step in and help Kyle spot and coach Brennan during his first Spec Miata SCCA race in August at Portland International Raceway. We started off with a few hiccups that were very quickly resolved in the pits and Brennan went on to really impress all of us and came out unscathed! Brennan drives the #27 car and we added some good luck during the season by adding a brontosaurus below his name. Who doesn’t like dinosaurs on race cars?
I say this was a wonderful opportunity because I got to watch Gregg work in the shop to help prepare for all the races, I watched his love for it all turn into a yearning for more and a willingness to do better after each and every coaching moment and track time. He has so much potential and as a coach and a friend, I am very proud of him. I know everyone else is too!
Brennan started racing at Pat’s Acres in 2016 and Kyle started coaching him later in the same year with dirt and rain racing. Between the two, I know Brennan is going to become an absolute rock star behind the wheel. Kyle has watched him grow over the years and it is quite the unbreakable bond. We already see it on and off the track and I cannot wait to spend another season with him track side.

Since joining Team KBR, Amber Rasmussen has become a huge part of our racing efforts. Amber brings a very calculated and organized approach to the team, from working in the shop preparing for events, to working trackside. Her dedication and work ethic are second to none, she is always willing to lend a hand, and go the extra mile for our team. Amber reminds us that racing is fun and we are fortunate to have her working under our tent.
In a short time, she picked up being a spotter, both for Kyle and Brennan. She continued to work with Brennan through the season and coached/spotted him through his first official race.
When Amber returns from her adventures in Hawai’i, she will be attending racing school with our very own #17 Miata. As you can see, she’s very excited and if we all had someone who looked at us the way she looks at these race cars, we’d all be in love 😂
Welcome to the team, and here’s to a successful race school and year full of opportunities!

Team KBR is full of good people with big hearts. From the drivers, to the techs and the family that comes to support them. The amount of track staff and others who stop by our pits just shows how much they’re loved.
Kyle Keenan, who drives the notorious purple 44 car scored 2 wins today, working with Thomas who’s another talented driver and has had plenty of claimed wins himself. We are very proud of him for a very good year and a good race.
Jim Coshow in the 42 car (amber’s favorite) had a very good year and after a challenging weekend, still managed to be one of our best and safest drivers. He’s got jokes (and ice cream) up his sleeve anytime we camp at the track.
Brennan, in the 27 car, the youngest in the pack and a novice driver, tremendously improved his time and skills on the track since the last race and we are very, very proud.
Ronnie, who normally supports Kyle with coaching and providing us with the comfort of his trailer drove the 17 car (our rental) and managed to kick some real good butt on the track.
MJ, who drives the 08 car, always gives the best hugs and keeps the absolute best attitude on and off the track.
Kevin & Jan, well without those two humans, none of this would happen. Kevin is one of the best mechanics I know and it is obvious in the work that he does to keep these cars on track. Jan is always making sure we’re fed and she provides some great emotional support.
Amber, who’s become a team member by willing to put the work in of cleaning the cars, wheels, changing tires, fueling and most recently being Brennan’s spotter while he’s on track. Hopefully she will get in a car soon.
We are a family and despite the challenges we have endured, everyone has still come together.
There’s way more to be said, but for now, I’ll just say stay tuned for some changes coming to the shop and any fun updates on the team.
