It is our honor to announce our 2025/26 Eastside Timbers Player of the Year Award Winners, presented by adidas.

Girls Player of the Year

Hannah Winans
Hannah's story is one that reminds you why youth soccer matters. She walked onto our recreation fields at 5 years old and never stopped growing. Now in her senior year, she has developed into not only an exceptional player but an exceptional person. Last season she was named captain of her club team, and anyone who knows Hannah knows exactly why. Her work ethic is consistent, her attitude is contagious, and her ability to show up for her teammates as a role model and a leader sets her apart. Hannah has also grown into an outstanding coach, which tells you everything about the kind of person she is. She gives back. She lifts others up. She is everything Eastside Timbers represents and we could not be more proud of the young woman she has become. We cannot wait to see what comes next for her.

Boys Player of the Year

Anthony Penh
Anthony may be the quietest person in the room but on the field he lets his game do all the talking. This season it said quite a lot. As a midfielder for the 2011 Boys Red I he controlled the game, finished at the top of the scoring charts, and showed a level of skill and creativity on the ball that made him hard to stop. He has also started to find his confidence and it shows. We are looking forward to seeing where his game goes from here. Well done Anthony.

Manager of the Year

Jeanette Flowers
If you have ever been around Jeanette, you already know. She puts in the work, quietly, consistently, and without looking for recognition. As a soccer parent and a manager she goes above and beyond in every sense of the word, and our club is genuinely better because she is in it. The appreciation our community has for Jeanette is real and it is well earned. Thank you for everything you do, Jeanette. This one is for you.

Recreation Parent of the Year

Ciara Hernandez
Ciara is exactly the kind of person every club hopes to have. With a player in our competitive program and two in our recreation program, she is always showing up, whether that means helping at our auctions, capturing moments behind the camera, or jumping in wherever she is needed without ever being asked twice. She is warm, reliable, and genuinely one of the good ones. We are so grateful to have her in our Eastside Timbers family. Thank you, Ciara and congratulations!

A huge thank you to Calcagno Pediatrics for two wonderful years of supporting Eastside Timbers. Their commitment to our club and to youth soccer in our community has meant so much to us and we are truly grateful for the partnership we have shared.

Darigold has been a proud partner of Eastside Timbers for the past two years and their support of youth soccer in our community has been something we do not take for granted. As a Pacific Northwest company with deep roots in the region, their commitment to families and communities here is something we genuinely respect and align with. We are grateful for everything they have brought to our club and for their continued investment in youth soccer.

Competitive Coach of the Year

Geoff Walker
Geoff has been with Eastside Timbers for years and is one of the most dedicated people this club has ever had. As coach of the 2012 Girls Red I, he has led his team to a State Cup Championship three years in a row. A hat trick of titles that is nothing short of extraordinary. But Geoff's impact goes far beyond the field. Whether he is volunteering at our auctions, showing up for our 4th of July events, or jumping in wherever the club needs him, Geoff is always there. He is a true champion for all things Eastside Timbers. Thank you Geoff, this club would not be the same without you.

Recreation Coach of the Year

Reymund Quintero-Torres
Reymund has built something really special with his players. He has a natural rapport with the kids he coaches and brings an energy to the field that makes every practice and gameday one players genuinely look forward to. His ability to create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment is a gift, and it shows in the way his players grow and show up week after week. That kind of coaching leaves a lasting impression on young players. We are lucky to have him and so are his players. Congratulations Reymund, you have earned this.

This free community event brings together refugee, immigrant, and Portland-area youth and families through soccer, storytelling, cultural performances, and community connection.
