Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex at the University of Southern Maine Offering Fitness Center, Body Shop, a wide variety of aerobic & fitness programs

Facility: The facility contains three basketball courts, two multi-purpose rooms, and two fitness centers. The fitness centers have single station selectorized equipment, and a free weight area as well as Concept II rowers, treadmills, tread climbers, stationary bikes, steppers, and elliptical fitness cross trainers. Full service locker rooms include a towel service (small charge), showers, lockers(additional charge), and saunas. Massage therapy appointments available Wednesday & Thursday, Call to schedule

HEADS UP:

The Sullivan Complex basketball courts will be closed all day today (5/18) and tomorrow (5/19). In addition to this, the Sullivan Complex parking lot will also be closed tomorrow (5/19).

Both of the fitness areas downstairs will still be open for our regular summer hours!!

UPDATE:

Due to the expected weather in the morning, the University of Southern Maine, including the Sullivan Complex, will open at 10:00AM on Tuesday (1/27).

We are happy to announce that we will be offering both of our Women's Power Hour and Functional Fitness Fridays fitness classes in the Spring 2026 Semester!!

Women's Power Hour is an hour long fitness class that will take place from 1:30PM - 2:30PM on Tuesdays and Thurdays in the Bodyshop, and the class will run from January 20th to May 21st.

Functional Fitness Fridays is an hour long fitness class that will take place from 11:30AM - 12:30PM on Fridays in the Multipurpose Room, and the class will run from January 23rd to May 22nd.

Both of these classes will be hosted by our personal trainer, Niffy Allen!
